Hôtel Le National

A five minute walk to the train station, in a nice, calm neighborhood. A 10-15 minute walk to the main area, or there is a bus that takes you to the center and the beach. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable.

Very nice hotel in a great location, very clean and quiet. Rooms are spacious and we loved our sweet little balcony. Walking distance to everything, close to great restaurants. Very kind staff. Beds were super comfortable. Nice historic building.

Close to train station No hot water at night and no front desk at night. Bad temper of the employee when I complained. Bed room disappointing. Carpet need a good cleaning and the room too. Far away from entertainments.

Extra charge for everything. The buffet breakfast was just OK. No coffee or tea in room.

The hotel was average. The photos online looked nicer than the reality, but the stay was still acceptable. The room and facilities were basic, and the presentation on the booking page could be more accurate. I can’t point to one specific issue, but overall everything felt below expectations.

An extra charge to park a bike in the lobby out in the open with no where to lock it was off putting. The breakfast was underwhelming and not good value. The room was dated, but clean.

The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, good location The manager— the first morning he was banging on the room next door to us at 10:55am screaming “out, out, out”. The next day when we were leaving, he did the same to my wife at 10:57 yelling at her.

Le National is a lovely cosy hotel which provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is in a great location close to the train station with cafes nearby though there are road works around the property it wasn’t a problem for us. There is a lift to get upstairs. The owner was very helpful especially as we don’t speak French, breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. I wish we had more time there. Nothing

This is our third stay at this property. We visit friends who live in Aubais but we like to spend a day or two in Sète before onward travel. It is not far from the train station which is convenient. It is a budget hotel, in a quiet location, within walking distance of everything in Séte. Cafès and restaurants are nearby. We walked up Mont St Claire on a Sunday, not for the faint of heart because you will ascend 300 steps on the approach we took. This walk gave interesting views down on Sète through residential areas. The view from the top is spectacular. It would be unfair to criticise an adequately run budget hotel.

Very convenient to train station on a quiet side street. Basic accommodations but clean with a comfortable bed. Wish breakfast had been included in the price.
