The position was very close to the Parte Antigua to visit. The staff was helpful. Unfortunately the first room assigned to us had an issue in the bathroom as the ceiling was completely open due to a water leakage and there was a huge bin to collect it. The staff assigned us another room, it was smaller but we didn't complain. However, even this room had water leakeages issues, every night we had to request to check and clean the bathroom because it was really slippery and dangerous. The whole structure needs some renovations. I came here 10 years ago and it seems the property didn't put too much work to modernize the rooms and the pool area. Also the pool area was very crowded with not many sun beds and a bit unkempt. Also found some ants, didn't find where they came from.

Pool was a welcome relief from the VERY hot sun (40c). Bar was OK but it would have been better if it had opened earlier than 3pm. The breakfast was very good and catered for all. Location was about a 10/15 minutes walk from the major attractions but DO NOT TRUST Google! The narrow streets and high sided building in the old town (which is where the hotel is) send it bonkers. Found it easier to navigate the old fashioned way: map :) As stated, the bar didn't open until 3pm and it closed at 11pm. Might be better to open earlier and close earlier. Balconies are a waste of time. Too small for anything but standing. Look good but completely useless, save your 40 euros.

Only the location and the pool The hotel left a lot to be desired, starting with the car park, which is expensive and in poor condition; parking the car is very tricky as the spaces are extremely tight and there are support pillars for the hotel’s structure right in the middle of the car park. The reception staff were extremely unfriendly – never a smile, never a kind word; they were very hostile and not at all pleasant. The hotel has a really sickly smell in the entrance hall that does not reflect its cleanliness. When I arrived at my hotel room, the small bathroom still had the shampoo bottles left by the previous guests in the shower cubicle. The view from my room was of other people’s houses, and there were very few places to hang up towels. The breakfast, which is said to be very varied, is always the same and there isn’t actually that much variety. The only two friendly people at the hotel were a chambermaid and the lady who welcomes us at breakfast; the breakfast area is always freezing cold. To leave the hotel and collect the car, we checked out, and once again, due to the staff’s lack of care, they didn’t open the garage, so I had to get out of the car and go to reception to ask them to open it. I had to ask twice because the ladies at reception ignored me; I was only helped by a male colleague who was also at reception. The hotel does not have a lift leading to the car park, which poses a barrier for people with reduced mobility, as the only way to reach reception is via stairs. In fact, even with two heavy suitcases, we had to carry them up the stairs to reception before we could access the lift. To sum up, the hotel is well located, but: 0 friendliness from the staff; 0 variety at breakfast; 0 quality of service; 0 concern for the guest; Despite its potential, given the location and the view from the pool at night, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone; it left a lot to be desired and I was extremely disappointed.

Solid location, a few minutes away from the historic center, very nice hotel with the amazing rooftop pool. Excellent breakfast.

I liked the location, right beside a super market and walking distance from most attractions. The pool was good, more sun loungers would’ve been nice. Good air conditioning. The kettle was not working in the room at the time of our stay. Unfortunately there was construction on the road right in front of the hotel which was facing our room; not the hotels fault of course but would’ve liked to be informed beforehand.

Comfortable (cool in the heat) and good breakfast. Reasonable pool and pool deck areas
