The rooms were surprisingly spacious and there was very hot water! Good general location, near Yu Yuan, although not very close to a subway station. The rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. But we were told they had no other rooms. The bathroom was clean, but the shower was not. The bathroom fan was broken, and the whole hotel was in mild disrepair. Nowhere near the quality or service of other Campanile hotels.

location - about 10-15 min walking distance to Yu Garden, from Yu Garden to the Bund another 15 min walking. room was spacious. nothing to complaint

I’ve started here 4 times now and it is my go to stay in Shanghai. Perfect location. Great staff who are very accommodating and kind. The floor is not carpet which is great and the room is clean and comfortable.

The price was decent The staff was less than helpful, zero English. We asked for a breakfast package before leaving they refused. We asked for them to call us a taxi they said they couldn’t do it.

The breakfast even limited but was ok. The hotel quite far from Metro + Big Construction going near and it will take 2yrs min to finish.

The location was ideal for what we wanted to see, the Bund and Yu Gardens and markets. The rooms were clean, although I was a little too close to the elevator and the shower temperature was tricky to get right.

breakfast was very good with lots of choice. hotel is a bit old, but is very well looked after.

Cleanness, friendly staff, convenient location There is no refrigerator in room, cooler only. To register and use washing machine you have to have either Chinese phone number or ask somebody at front desk.
