The staff was excellent, especially Tommy Tan, who was so helpful and cordial. Some more continental dishes can be added. In the room, some candy and a mini coffee packet would be added.

The hotel seems new, with free laundry room, good fitness center, close to many restaurants and right next to a mall. Breakfast was good for Chinese hotel standards. It's a bit far from city center.

Good choice to stay. The placement is good if you have observed key sightseeings and looking for place to relax and look at the infastructure. Right at the 13 Metro line so that you can go to look at any place of the city. A big number of cafes and other places to eat nearby and family mart. A big thanks to Tommy Tang at the reception for early morning check in and late night checkout. The windows were not covered with glass enough so the cold air was getting to the room. The conditioner was with cold air despite the fact that the switcher was toggled to warmness. But the issue was quickly resolved.

To be honest a location is a bit far from the city downtown and from the tourist attractions, but everything else is great, a bit old style hotel. But still a good option.

The staff were accommodating and super friendly. They went above and beyond to facilitate my inquiries. Especially the receptionists were very hospitable.The entire staff I encountered during my three days stay at the hotel were super amazing!

I have stayed with this hotel chain in other places, including Colorado, US, and in Sydney, Australia. Including this time in Shanghai, they were all good and comfortable stays and would recommend them. Location was close to subway and close to the place we went daily, the reason for our travel. The lift was good and quick, and the room was nice and quiet and free of smell, especially cigarette smoke. Good variety of breakfast (according to my wife). The main double bed was nice and soft, the other sofa/bed was a little harder, but was ok for my back. Fridge was handy in the Shanghai heat. Shower good, though a little varied with water temperature control at first. Staff at front desk were bilingual and quite helpful. The lobby was neat, clean and without bad smells, and with a couple of snack and drink vending machines. Overall a very good stay where we will most likely stay again. We were in a room with 2 double beds. One king sized bed would be better, though not a big issue. For me (does not apply to my wife), the breakfast could have had more variety, namely sweet baozi and more variety of cereals. Then this applies to both my wife and I: the worst thing was the coffee! Couldn’t drink that. Had to bring our own from our host (not much better)! Consider using coffee beans (we would pay a bit more). The coffee for us was the worst thing by far. The following issues were all minor, and partly just the way things are done in China. One day we did smell a slight bit of smoke in the corridor near our room (fortunately not in the room). One day cleaners were using acetone to clean the path while we waited for our ride. I understand the need to clean, but maybe the area needs temporary barriers or done at night with less people when using something with a toxic smell such as acetone. Overall just tiny things that caused temporary discomfort. Thus I rate at 8 and not 9. Despite this, it was MUCH better than a cheaper, local hotel down the road where we stayed last year. So next year when we visit for longer, we will almost certainly choose this one!

Great location, subway, bus stops nearby, lot of malls and convenience shops around. There was black mold around and on the air conditioner vent.

Great value for money, friendly hosts, decent size rooms, and everything was clean and comfortable. Best thing for me was the late checkout at 14:00, very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't very rich, with very limited selection. As a vegetarian I didn't have much options. But it was still in the ok range, wasn't super bad, just not very good as well.

The staff is very professional and especially kind. I would like to mention the 3 staff members: Ma Li and Chen (I hope I mentioned their names correctly) who were very nice and helped us a lot. It should be noted the large and spacious room we received, the dining room is wonderful and full of everything good, the free laundry in the hotel is on the second floor where there is a modest gym. It should be noted that a few meters from the hotel there is a metro station with which you can get anywhere in Shanghai. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and I highly recommend the hotel.

called 2 times just for my slippers. And they didn’t have enough toothpaste and they don’t have Comb . I believe next time they will do it good . But the hotel is good

Clean. Its not close to line 2. Which is main line. Good thing they offer shuttle. Breakfast is good but same everytime.

The location is good you can take metro line 13 - station south qilianshan road exit 1, 3 then walk a minute to the hotel. I chose this hotel because I trust the brand. none
