We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Shanghai North Bund. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and a great atmosphere. A special thank you to the reception team for allowing us to check in early and for the complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. We would also like to commend Jerry from the concierge team, who was exceptional throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, always with a smile and great attention to detail. The housekeeping team also did an excellent job keeping our room clean, comfortable, and well-maintained every day. We also loved the hotel’s cute robot delivery service — it was such a fun and unique touch that made the experience even more memorable and added to the hotel’s modern feel. We honestly had a pleasant stay overall and did not experience any major issues.

Staff at door brilliant. Restaurant Brilliant but check in staff could be more friendly. They were formal which I suppose is in keeping with the hotel style. However I cant fault anything else.

The hotel is very new and clean. Bathroom is big and room is comfortable. It is located in a region far from the subway station and there are no restaurants or shops around. Too close to many construction sites make it very noise.

Room is nice and clean. Hotel staff was very helpful and was able to assist us regarding our transport from Shanghai to Hangzhou by renting a van for us. We booked through booking.com and arrived at the hotel with no available room. A hotel receptionist was even grumpy in explaining that they are fully booked. But the manager was able to assist but with additional room charge.

The mirrors right out beside the bathroom. You see yourself when to go to the bathroom. I got myself scared to 100% awake when I got up to the bathroom in the middle of the night. But it probably only me…

The breakfeast buffet could use a revamp. Also thestaff is not very attentive, as you would expect from that kind of hotel. And the location is not very great. About 15 min walk from the closest metro station.
