wonderful location and Art Deco design. Our room overlooked the Bund, which was something very special. Also it was a good size. Great breakfast buffet. expensive laundry facilities in a country where laundry service is often free.

Very good location ! Comfortable beds and all you need in the room . Good water pressure in the shower and very nice staff . Would stay there again !

Room price treble for proximity to May day holidays and the suite not plush enough to justify the cost.

perfect location for visit the Bund and take amazing pictures; relatively well connected and close also to the walknig part of Nanjing Rd with lots of restaurants usual not good wifi, but it is China so no big surprise! no convenient stores nearby

Keys did not work and had to go back to lobby to figure that out. A little bit annoying but other than that, no complaints.

The hotel is located in a historic building, right on the famous The Bund. The furniture is renovated, but there are also old objects that give the place a charm. The place is clean, well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. English is not their strong point, but it is valid for most places, so it is not a problem. However, the staff compensates by being friendly and by trying to make you feel good. We arrived at the hotel very early in the morning, around 6.30 and the receptionists saw that we were tired from the road, they were very proactive and at 10.30 they accommodated us - at no extra cost. The breakfast is rich, with very tasty traditional products but also with European options, for all tastes. The internet in the hotel works well, you connect very easily. From the hotel you have a very beautiful panoramic view of the skyscrapers of Shanghai and you have a 5-minute walk to the famous Nanjing Road, a pedestrian street with everything you want - shops, restaurants, malls.

It’s excellent location. The hotel itself is a part of history and well maintained. There is so much character in the building. It is on the historic Bund and the views of Shanghai are excellent. Property is fine. In the hospitality industry it is the people which make all the difference. The front office staff need training on basics about the city. Secondly the hotel is now renamed to Shanghai mansion but on Booking.com and on the Didi taxi app it continues to be Broadway Mansion. We ended up at the wrong hotel and had to find out on our own where the hotel was. Management must take care of these little things. When we asked the front office where the river cruise started from, the front desk had no idea and said they will check with the manager. The manager in turn said “check on the Internet” Really? This attitude took away the pleasure of an other wise wonderful property. Breakfast is a bit expensive and I was told that I can visit the rooftop ( for photography purposes) only during certain hours. To be fair other staff members were helpful.
