Nice location and comfortable rooms. Very nice bedding. There was a lot cigarette smoke in the room but i complained and got an upgrade to a nice suite also got an air purifier so it was fine afterwards. The breakfast is terrible. So dirty and messy, not friendly stuff. I felt i was at a school canteen rather than a five star hotel. So disappointing. Also the breakfast is supposed to ne till 10 30 on weekends but by 9 50 lots of missing items. The worst it is just so dirty that I didnt even want to eat certain things as the serving forks were so dirty and sometimes missing or laying inside the food platters . I think the breakfast is extremely poorly managed. Sad. Breakfast. Elevators . Some cigarette smoke present.

Property grounds were stunning- the gardens and landscaping were a beautiful sight to take in every morning. The rooms were large and amenities quite modern. Staff did their best to assist wherever possible. The ID was a little outdated and ostentatious. While the rooms were large the seating was limited. The smart WC inthe bathroom failed and that was unpleasant for a few hours till they fixed it. The aircon mysteriously turned off on our second night and a good rest was spoiled. The hotel did not do anything to compensate us for the inconvenience- no effort whatsoever despite complaints to the front desk- they should have done better,

A very nice hotel with a big compound and other 1-2 storey buildings probably meant for other events. Felt like i was living in a time when it was old Shanghai and this was one of the posh property within the French Concession Area. A bit further away from the Metro stations, closest would take 15mins walk. Fortunately I could use the public bicycles that saved a lot of time and energy, cutting the time to just 6 mins ride to the metro station.

Location is okay. But I feel there are tones of other options within the city limit I would say staff and room. Staffs hospitality and language. Room is very tiny probably it’s Shanghai. I feel there are other valuable properties where staff and room is more enjoyable.

The rooms are very comfortable and specious. Also the location is pretty good! A bit far from the subway. Also there was an issue with the toilet drains, but they foxed it quickly. The rooms facing the city side are a bit loud.

Gorgeous property in a great location. Staff was incredibly patient and kind. They went out of their way to find some packages my aunt had sent me without a room number on them. The complimentary juice and wontons were delicious! Housekeeping was lovely too.

In the heart of the french concession, what a bucolique environment. Good welcome, superb rooms. Will definitely come back. you need to prevent car parking opposite or near the lobby of the hotel.

We stayed in a Business Class room and liked it — super clean and spacious. The room even had a hot tub, which was a nice surprise! Breakfast was great too, with lots of variety, fresh-squeezed juice, and tasty dishes made by the chefs. The surrounding garden was beautiful, and getting around from the hotel was super easy and affordable by taxi (we used the DiDi app). The entire staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also has a gym, a spotless sauna, and a nice swimming pool — all really well-maintained. It would’ve been nice if the fresh juice had been available throughout the whole breakfast time.

Excellent hotel with great rooms and facilities. Breakfast is sumptuous and the location is beautiful Unfortunately was unable to do any work during my stay as the WiFi did not allow me to either access my mail or do any of my zoom calls. Had to use my mobile and data roaming to get somethings done - at an expense of course! If you plan to visit Shanghai for work you are wellk advised to first check the WiFi availability for foreign IP adresses.
