This is a great place for a local environment, eatery near by , subway close. This place is good for short stay and caters plainly to Chinese nationals and to be a guest here was great. no frills standard local accommodation. Yes they do speak Chinese!! great breakfast I don't like reviews who think a mainland place for "Chinese visitors" should include their whine reports about this place... they just don't get it. A bit of discretion would be advised for international guests and their terrible reviews about hair and the like. Plenty of other places for international posh guests and their reviews about English speaking people in their foyer you can go to, even in your own country no doubt for you special people who can't travel except on the international $200 a day circuit. I went to Canada and not one person spoke Chinese at the hotel !!! really... live a little. and yes a lot of Chinese people smoke too...

Friendly staff, good location, hot water and heating, quiet. Not perfectly clean, a bit old but ok.

I don't recommend to stay here. When we arrived they didn't have our booking and didn't seem at all happy to have to add it to their system, the girl at reception was on her phone when we arrived and made us feel like we were disturbing her. When we finally got our room it stunk of cigarettes, the bathroom was not clean at all, there was a pubic hair on the toilet roll the shelves were dirty everything was dirty, people were walking through the hotel smoking, they were standing in the corridors smoking. Overall bad experience and I would not go back there. Also the location on the maps shows up incorrectly, we walked around for hours trying to find it when I messaged the property they didn't message back.

There was plenty of food for breakfast, and the staff were willing to help us change rooms. Some of the staff are well-intentioned. They provided us with new slippers and towels almost every day. The moment I stepped in any room I saw black stains on the walls everywhere. They first put us in a smoking room, even though we requested ahead of time for a non-smoking room and we asked to switch to another. After that, there was dust everywhere in the next room and my husband had to take medication for dust allergy for the rest of our stay there. The black stains on the walls were growing white mold. There were cobwebs and dead (as well as live) bugs scattered around the room. There was moldy old pieces of food on the floor around the bed. We originally had a random extra bed in the room, they came in during the second day and asked for it back. They quickly mopped the floors with a wet towel after we asked for the room to be cleaned. I dusted and cleaned the room myself afterward. The shower didn't drain well but it got worse during our stay, to the point where we asked for it to be fixed. The only staff available to fix it at night came in with a toilet plunger and stepped into our room and shower with outdoor shoes, and tried unclogging the shower drain a few times. It did not work, bugs started to come out, and it smelled like sewage. We asked to switch to another room. The next room's shower drain was just as bad but by that time we were too traumatized by the first attempt at fixing a shower drain. My partner just waited for half an hour after I showered for the water to drain before taking his shower. Also, the room phones are not connected to anything. Many of the electric sockets don't work. They ran out of laundry powder and I had to go out to buy my own. The laundry dryer doesn't work well - we dried three times and our clothes were still wet. Unlike the Booking.com page, the staff told us they do not accept foreign credit cards, so we had to pay in cash.

Bed was ok, and I guess price/value ratio. Bu I wouldn't stay again. It's actually far from metro, I dont think the description on the page is acurate. Also the hotel doesn't resemble the pictures, its dirty outside and inside. Its also in a doggy neightbourhood, about 1,2km from nice shopping street though. Our booking was lost and we had to fight to be given the room, which was not easy as the first reception person was trying to convince us that the price we had via booking was impossible on top of not having our booking at all. Also after we finally got the room, they didn't care to mention that breakfast was included in the price - so we missed first two of them, which actually when I think about that now, was not that bad, as the quality of food was really poor even for chinese standards. Also - dirty windows, cigarettes smoke, main doors in alteration, windows didnt close. The cleaning lady was nice though. Last but not the least - no english.

Fairly central. Good value when compared to most central location's. The room was supposedly a none smoking room. Clearly it was not and the smoke alarm was covered up. No staff spoke any English.
