I booked a room with a wooden floor and a small carpet, like on the pictures, but in reality the room was different - with a full carpet. The smell in the room was extremely intense, not sure if it's a mold smell or desinfection smell, as the hotel is located on a street with a heavy traffic, opening the window was not an option because of the loud noise. The room was changed upon request but we got absolutely same room with a full carpet and smell again. That was very disappointing. I always select rooms without the carpet because of the allergy and getting such a disinformation in a 5* hotel was a bummer(

Location is excellent, very convenient for both business trips and casual city tour. The restaurants at the ground floor is great for all three meals a day. Room is clean, staff helped clean my room everyday and all of them were friendly and polite. Reception was fabulous too, and delayed my checkout time to 1pm as they heard that I've got a meeting until 12pm. Ordinary room is slightly too small, and there is no proper desk inside the room, which is a bit inconvenient to a businss traveler who needs to work in the room almost everyday.

The hotel and room was very clean and equipped with everything you need Power went out in my room in the middle room f a shower. Luckily it wasn’t completely dark yet. Staff moved me in another room and offered some fruit.

All sorts of amenities, great location, comfortable room. always a challenge to communicate as not everyone speaks english breakfast could have been better with more fruit options and better coffee.

The location was excellent in terms of access to a subway, buses and to the French Concession. Eateries and coffee shops on the same street and good ones close by. The staff was very nice and accomendating and I was even able to check in early! I felt like the rooms were old? Or smelled older? Like the air needed to be filtered better and I could smell smoke (even though I wasn't I think placed on a smoking floor). I also felt the bathroom could have been updated a bit, felt a little old and grimy. I just feel for a five star hotel it could have felt more 2021 than dated (or 2010 nice)
