Literally perfect! Everyone was so nice and sweet(especially Xavier Yao and Elysia) the room is super clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient. Every time I come back to Shanghai, I always choose this!!:) strongly recommend to everyone who is going to Shanghai!!!

Staff was beyond helpful. The quality of service was high and forwardthinking. We received many packages during our stay, and staff kept it safely. Location was good, you can take metro and bus to Main attractions in 15-30 mins. Breakfast is excellent and there was a huge variety of choices everyday. Room was spacious and front desk check in/out went smoothly and quick. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Everything was great!

Housekeeping service is very nice, did a good job in cleaning and tidying up. The toilet bowl is in an independent room and there is an distinct unpleasant odour from this room. I think if the exhaust fan inside this room is much stronger, this odour could be avoided. The air conditioning system in my room, no matter how i adjust the temp button, is always at 24.5-25.0 C degrees. It is quite hot and stuffy. Twice during my three nights stay, I have to call the technician to come to my room to solve the problem. They told me that they have to go the adjust the minimum temp setting in the main control panel located in the basement. After they did that, the air con can go to 22 degrees which is so cool and comfortable.

Generally good and when some flights were cancelled the hotel was incredibly flexible. Room was spacious, very clean and had a space-age toilet. My only slight gripe is that both Jade and Japanese restraurant wouldn't accommodate us at 9:15 on a Friday night depsite not closing until 10pm. Had we known they shut 45mins before advertised closing time we would have made other plans. Breakfast was nice and varied although some of the cooked food like the bacon was getting a little cold by around 9am.

Everything at this wonderful Hotel in the heart of Shanghai was perfect and pleasant. Very clean and comfortable. Very polite staff at front desk and reception. Special thanks goes to King Zhou and Michael Feng who had good English and always ready to assist if needed. Will try to stay here in each visit of mine to Shanghai.

The room was big and clean and with a nice view. The facilities, though a bit aging were good. The hotel should enforce their non-smoking policy better. The room and our entire floor smelled like cigarettes. Also at the breakfast area the coffee machines were dirty with old milk drops that solidified hanging out of the coffee machine. The breakfast area was also not organized well for the amount of people. All in all the hotel feels a bit dated.

Jing'an Intercontinental is ideally located, close to Shanghai Railway Station, two subway stops away from Renguang, and convenient transportation... The hotel is fully equipped, with a gym and a swimming pool. The room is clean and tidy, and the front desk Jane is enthusiastic.
