AC was not working and we were asked to check out in the last minute. Any refund was denied . We paid for AC rooms and did not get it .

Location and Breakfast Room maintenance

Excellent location directly opposite the railway station, which made traveling extremely convenient. The metro lines nearby made it very easy to move around Shanghai and even access the airport without much hassle. The room itself was spacious and having a bathtub was a nice bonus after long days of sightseeing. Despite being in a very busy urban area, transport connectivity was one of the strongest points of this hotel. The area feels very much like a concrete jungle, so if you are looking for parks, greenery, or relaxing outdoor spaces, you would need to travel elsewhere. There was maintenance work happening during my stay, and I did not get to experience the breakfast service since I am not really a morning person. Although the room had a window, it could not be opened which made the room feel less fresh. The wallpaper was also peeling in several places, so the rooms are probably due for refurbishment and some general updating.

The hotel is located in a good spot.... The building is old.... The rooms are clean.... The bathroom sink was not working The bathroom sink not working....

It was ok nothing was great about it just another hotel for a decent price. The staff didnt speak english at all so that made it a little difficult to ask questions about anything and they weren't very personable compared to other stays. Very pay me and never speak to me again. It almost felt like they would purposely avoid you

please do include the breakfast facility as well

That they had a laundry and an excellent staff almost everything was a disappointment except the friendly and efficient staff; rooms were too old and the carpet held old stains. We tried to use the area by the lobby to eat but the chairs has a strong not good odor and had butt imprints. it was expensive compared to another i stayed at but the value you get is low quality. it felt like it was on its last leg before a much needed major refurbishment. I will not recommend.

Good service

The location near the train station is good as I had a train in the morning and i could walk. The sheets were clean. The reception barely speaks english which is a big downside. Also, the furniture is old and not well maintained.

Although the location was quite far from the city center, it still saved us a lot of money even when we mostly took DiDi rides. The hotel itself was old upon looking at its interior, it still was clean and comfortable to sleep in. Nearby restaurants, milk tea places, and a C-Store. Beds were comfortable. The only downside during our stay were the staff (or I think only because it's their personality to not be as friendly and accommodating as hotel staff in the Philippines). No help was offered to help bring our luggages in our room, but we didn't mind it at first. What I was shocked about is how I called for a bell boy during check-out and they said "ok", but upon going down to ask again they just let me take the trolley to bring up to our room and transport the luggages down ourselves. Only the housekeeping staff were only the people greeting and smiling at us.

Location to the Shanghai train station. Nice eateries surrounding the station. Lots exits from metro. 2 kinds of tea at the lobby. A nice welcome drink as you return each day The hotel is at Shanghai train South Exits. The long distance bus will terminate at Shanghai train North Exits. This will mean extra walk of another 500m to the hotel via metro underpass.
