Breakfast was excellent. Location is not bad. The hotel was difficult to find, the map provided is not useful. In addition, the name of the hotel seen from the street is VX-hotel, there is no sign that this is the GrenTree hotel.

I came to the hotel from HongQiao Railway Station in a taxi which is a 30 mins drive. There is a nearby subway station which is around 10mins walking. The hotel's location was convenient, with various nearby shops and restaurants. The on-site restaurant looks stylish but I left early so could not eat there. The room looks new and had essential amenities like toothbrushes, shavers, hairdryer and combs. A large TV, a kettle, and air conditioning. Varied lighting options in the room which makes it cozy at night. I had clean towels and bed sheets. Comfortable mattress and pillows. The price is so affordable that I cannot complain. Someone smoked in the room before. You can asked for a non-smoking room.

There are free washing and drying machines, very clean and comfortable! The hotel provides free drinking water. The hotel name is not the same as booking.com says! We had problems with finding the hotel because of that. The wifi worked well in the lobby, but was weak in the room. The hotel is quite far away from the metro station, plus there are stairs on the way, so location is really not the best.

They didn’t honor my reservation. Adress was also very hard to find, to finally move backwards.
