Location is excellent for convenience, safety and quite pleasant. Included breakfast buffet is fine and enjoyable with a variety of Chinese and western fare. I liked the noodle soup and choice of eggs. Nothing in particular. I'm familiar with this hotel having stayed there on multiple occasions. The hotel is older compared with some others nearby, but well maintained and clean and quite nice. It feels much higher end than the actual cost.

Swimming pool closed on a Monday, the pool was the reason we went to that hotel. The next day went down to the pool but you can only go in with a swim hat. Nothing about that when booking so had to pay another 100yuan for 2 hats and the pool was quite small and cold.

The hotel is located in a nice location of the old Lo Wu area. The nice part about this it is close to many great restaurants. I got upgraded to a business king room, which is an average level 5-star room. It is well-facilitated. It does have a bathtub, which is nice. The room is clean. They have a swimming pool and they insist on everyone to wear a swimming cap. If you don’t have one, they sell for $US 7. The breakfast is somewhat disappointing since I was pretty much looking forward to it. There were many options of food, but none of them seem to be made with quality ingredients. I think the hotel is slightly overpriced given what you get. Their staff are friendly. They even sent me night fruit, which is very nice. Thank you. Overall it is a good stay.

Location is good Interior was very old and weary. Television remote was not working. Toilet was not flushing properly.

It has a good location. The executive lounge was closed. Should’ve informed earlier. So that I don’t need to upgrade to the executive level. The orientation of the room layout wasn’t good. It’s uncomfortable where the bed is facing both the toilet and entrance.

Staff of most of the hotels I have stayed in Shenzhen before May 2023 can't speak English and so communication is a big problem. But in Sunshine hotel many staff, be it at reception or restaurant or at room service can speak English. It is a good clean hotel with courteous and helpful staff. The pricing part from last time was a bit more. For regular guests there should be some sort of package deal.

Hotel is rather old. Staff like managers and room cleaners were nice.....however some of the service staff average. Tried to call room service 30 minutes before close. Phone was picked up and you could hear they didn't want to take the order. Called 2nd time there phone was lifted.

Low level rooms have mosquitoes. Hotel does not allow customers to smoke, but people smoke a lot. I had to change room because I smell cigarette smoke at night in room and at elevator. Hotel does not enforce smokers in room. It can not be a 5 star hotel
