Relax Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an Airport

Very friendly and helpful staff!!!! They were amazing!!!

The room was clean, quiet and complete with room amenities. The bed and pillows were the best I have used in all the years of travelling. Nothing. Everything is good.

Smoking smell in the room

The staff was very helpful. They arranged free transport with hotel shuttle to the airport at 5 AM. They even gave us a roomcall 15 minutes earlier proactively. Also they offer free laundry which was very nice. As usual in China, WiFi can be not working if you try to connect with a phone with a foreign SIM card.

Close to the airport (15 min) This hotel supposedly offers airport transfer (free) - after texting and calling multiple times i was never offered one on arrival. I’ve sent them my flight number numerous times and even had a live chat AND call to let them know I had arrived. So pickup didn’t happen. When it was time to leave I requested another transfer which they told me they had booked for the next day at 1045. The lady at the reception even said she would arrange it for me because they would like a good review. THIS ONE ALSO DID NOT HAPPEN! I had to call my own taxi in order to not miss my flight. After my first night I requested NO CLEANING at the reception - as it wasn’t necessary - sure enough, after a couple of hours of being out I find everything in my room cleaned. It’s a good thing they have good and clean rooms but I personally don’t want anyone in my room after I’ve been there. One major downside is that people were smoking. I could smell it the whole time I was there. They should really invest in speaking and understanding basic English. 3,5/5

Next generation toilet. For 1 night it’s ok, no more than that. We were in transit to other destination. Room was dirty, hair, cigarette ashes, etc. Strong cigarette smell in the room.

The great one which is worth the money. I really recommend it for visitors who arrive in Shenzhen too early. The hotel has a new van to pick us up at 5am and they let us check in at 6am with no additional charge at all. Although the staff rarely speak English, they're really helpful. The room is very clean and has all necessary stuff. I feel very thankful. -

Close to the airport, nice area The whole building smelled of smoke! There were signs up saying: “no smoking in the room”, but the hallway had ash trays so everyone smokes there. The bathroom also reeked of smoke. My husband and I don’t smoke and he has asthma and I have sinusitis, so the smoke made us really nauseous and caused irritation to our lungs and sinuses.

We were able to check in early. Quiet. Shuttle service good. The smell of cigarettes throughout the building and room was disgusting.

The front desk staff are very friendly, the hotel facilities are excellent in all aspects, the location is not close to the road and relatively quiet, and it is also very close to the subway, which is only 300 meters away and can be reached quickly

Clean and functional. Fine for overnight stay It was quite difficult to find. Nobody had heard of it and it doesn't seem to have a Chinese name. Perhaps better instructions for how to get there would be useful.

Front desk told me that she can not find my booking. she said already withdrew payment from my credit card, so no need to show your credit card. QUITE STRANGE????

Was here for a layover - close to airport by tax and then free transfer back to airport in the am. Really helpful staff on the reception. Bed very comfy and shower very good. Free buffet in the morning - noodles/fresh veg/boiled eggs Good! Very good gym room? Full weight rack and dumbbells cable machine with 2x treadmill. There is a slight smell of smoke in hallways (I’m non smoker) but couldn’t smell it really.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Very good value. The staff were helpful.

The location which is near metro line 1. There are also food stores, restaurants, park, playground nearby. The location is safe even at night. Police station is also near. Being questioned about me extending my stay and having paid, because it wasn't being communicated between the employees so I had to convince the staff that I have already paid more for another extension for the stay during the day. There is no pamblet/map for tourist to guide them to look around or any roller, bike for looking around nearby. The carpet...It not only looks old but also can't be cleaned right, there were dirty spots and it also makes bringing the already heavy suitcases to the room a hassle.
