Wyndham Grand Shenzhen

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, making it very comfortable throughout my visit. The location is excellent, with convenient access to nearby attractions and public transportation. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and willing to assist whenever needed. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service, and I would be happy to stay here again. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the soundproofing. At times, I could hear doors closing in the neighbouring rooms and children making noise in the corridor. It wasn’t a major issue, but better sound insulation would make the stay even more comfortable.

Friendly staff, room size and cleanliness I enjoyed my stay and found the hotel comfortable. One area for improvement would be the air-conditioning, as it produced noticeable noise during the night. Reducing the noise would make the room even more comfortable for guests.

The room decor was outdated. I had bugs in my bathroom and shower. The windows were not well insulated and I heard car honking noise all night long . WiFi wouldn’t work or was very slow

Everything was great and excellent . Except the room service , for some reason they bring us coffee in plastic cups instead of normal … but overall everything was great. Nice stay .

Poor English of the staff. The bathroom not very clean. Slight mold smell in the room. Noisy breakfast hall and the cleaning service not fast enough (the tables were sitting uncleaned for long times). Construction works at the building in front of the hotel not previously advertised.

Great rooms, excellent food and gym

Great location, amazing room, great view on high floor, break buffet was great with western and asian food, kitchen staff was very nice greeting me in English. Price is also great! Overall an almost perfect stay! I would give 10/10 if there was no issue. Unfortunately I can only give 9/10 as the food ordered to our room had 3 issues. - The spaghetti had a little sharp wooden stick in it. My toddler chew on it and luckily spit it out instead of swallowing it. - The fresh orange juice, with a lid on, had a tiny bug in it. - The tiramisu was still frozen inside and the taste was bland. Besides that the food itself had a good portion and tasted great.

Location is superb – the hotel is right next to a massive shopping mall, there’s a convenience store nearby, and tons of restaurants in the area. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. Beds are an absolute dream, and the soundproofing is excellent – you really get a restful night’s sleep here. First of all, this might be more of a general issue in China. Quality levels are very mixed – some elements are truly high-end, while others feel cheap and wear out quickly, even in a luxury hotel. For example, the bed was luxurious, but the lamp above it was made of the cheapest plastic imaginable, and many buttons were already broken. We even had a window that let water in. Another issue was the language barrier. English is a real problem here – staff are very friendly and good at using apps, but if you want to order food by phone, you’re better off walking down to the reception. Also, some of the information in the hotel description is misleading. Room service is not 24/7 – you can only order food until 10 PM. The pool is indoors and pretty cold, both in terms of air and water temperature (I'd guess around 26–27°C). On top of that, there are a lot of strict rules – it felt more like a school swimming pool with supervisors than a relaxing hotel amenity. You are not allowed to swim without a swim cap. I’m completely bald and clean-shaven and explained this, but they insisted: “It’s the procedure.” Whether that’s just this hotel or a general rule in China, I don’t know – but it’s hard to imagine other luxury hotels requiring guests to wear a swim cap. Overall, there’s a slightly formal, rigid vibe between the hotel and the guest that doesn’t quite align with what I expect from a high-end service experience. I'd also like to add that the internet was a major downside – it’s extremely slow, to the point where you can’t really get anything done. You’ll definitely need a local eSIM if you plan to stay connected.

Staffs are lack of english capability.

Breakfast had a wide variety. Staff were fast in cleaning the diners em who had finished.

Spacious room. Quality amenities. 1 min walk to subway. Light noise in room seemed to come from aircon or plumbing.

Room and toilet were spacious. Like the porridge at breakfast. There is a metro entrance right outside the hotel, very convenient. Found the pillows too soft.
