The pool is pretty to look at but really intended for swimming—just to wade in, mostly. You cannot get dinner without a prior reservation.

The included breakfast alternated between American and Japanese style and was excellent. The location was on mountainous terrain and had beautiful views of the ocean/ beach and surrounding neighborhoods. Very clean resort and comfortable. There is Shirahama shrine nearby and is gorgeous.Thanks to Takashi and staff were superb in everything they did (especially breakfast)

Amazing hotel! Amazing view. Our room was very nice, the view was great, the a/c worked lovely. They had an English speaking staff member who helped us. It was our fault not realizing the menu was almost all fish. We are not fish people but they went out of their way to make us a different breakfast. A++ service. Thank you! Nothing!

Close to beach, good breakfast and big bed Curtains were useless, private onsen was not always available, and I saw a cockroach in our room.

Hotel Sea Shell exceeded all our expectations! We loved how clean, sanitary, and relaxing our stay was while there. The environment was warm and welcoming while our room had amazing views! The staff was great and super helpful! They made my husband and I feel very comfortable and taken care of even with a language barrier. The man who I think is the owner/ manager went out of his way to help us in any way he could! He was great and goes the extra mile for his clients which is great customer service. There was another male staff member who spoke English and his customer service was awesome! He answered any questions we had and was super friendly! The food was delicious and we looked forward to eating breakfast every morning! Both Light and BBQ Dinner were delicious and served beautifully. The location was perfect for us! The beach was beautiful and so close to the hotel. It was a wonderful getaway. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a special/romantic place to take your significant other!
