The place is well located and clean The things like the ping pong paleta where a little bit damaged and the place looked a little outdated

Very friendly and hospitable staff. Fresh sashimi served at breakfast. The view from the room. Renovated lobby. Relatively fresh looking tatami in the room (as of January 2026) Though I could see that some parts of the property have been replaced or renovated, there’s no denying that the building itself is quite old, and many areas still look worn. I was slightly disappointed by the shower room in our guest room and parts of the private onsen; while they were clean, they could have been better maintained or more updated. In addition, some sections of the restaurant where we had breakfast had their lights turned off. While I understand this may have been for energy-conservation reasons, it unfortunately made the space feel dim and somewhat neglected, giving the impression of a run-down, aging ryokan. Finally, guests were encouraged to leave five-star reviews on Google Maps in exchange for a gift. This made us question the authenticity of some of the reviews. While there are clearly areas for improvement, the location is excellent and some of the staff were very kind and attentive, so I genuinely hope the property can make improvements and live up to its potential.

The staff were out of this world amazing.

  • Engine customer Jul 2025

The staff was WONDERFUL. They really went above and beyond to help us when we hit a little bump in the road during our travels. The room had a fantastic view and was very big. We were so comfortable in there as a family of four with tall teenagers and adults. You can tell that the facility used to be very fancy but could use a refresh to bring it up to a modern feel. They will get there though, I am sure.

    Very good

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

The room is reasonable to accommodate 3 pax on tatami setting. The hotel is a bit aged and smelly a bit.The only good thing is the private onsen bath that is available from evening to late night. The front desk staffs are courteous and helpful. There are not many restaurants nearby accept to drive out. Parking space is plenty and most attractions are nearby. Would recommend this place if you want private onsen bath. Nothing much.

    Very good

  • Engine customer Mar 2023

Breakfast is very good, and the sea view is excellent! There is a staff can speaking Chinese that gave us a good helping hand! The entrance route to the parking area is difficult to find that driver may not easy to get there!

  • Engine customer Mar 2023

Only the onsen water and the staff kindness but other than that it was too run down and very cheap rural Chinese The parking is badly indicated. The arrival is not pleasant (no planting, just rocks, looks totally unfinished). The lobby feels like a countryside Chinese man’s house trying to show off. Why a giant kids toy truck?! Why try to sell jade bracelets in Japan? The hotel synthetic deodorant smell everywhere was quite unpleasant. The rooms, well beside being very spacious, stains on the tatami everywhere. the loud bathroom and the noise from other rooms made it all quite uncomfortable.

We were in completely off-season, so only we and another couple was there. We had the hotel and the onsen completely for us, this was really nice! For breakfast there was no buffet, we received per person a own tablet with a lot of nice things, obviously made with love! I‘ve read other reviews and maybe in full seasons it‘s different, but we had really nice stay.
