Shizuoka Town Hotel

Clean, welcoming and comfortable. No frills but good value for money. Very good location. Pillow on the bed was super soft! Minor issue but bigger pillow would have been much more comfortable.

The location from Shizuoka station is about 5 minutes by walk. There are many restaurants and malls around. The streets outside the hotel were illuminated by winter light. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and quite comfortable. The only thing was I couldn't locate the switchboard to room lights with the room key chain, but the staff helped me, and it was sorted immediately.

I did not like the location. So any bars and drunks around the streets . The street hawker(キャッチ) might block your path on way and try to scam you.

The room is tiny, barely enough for one queen-size bed.

I like the ambiance and service of the hotel. The hotel is presentable. And, I'm good to choose their service because the place give you quiet and peaceful environment that everyone wants.

The above-average business hotel in the heart of the entertainment district of Shizuoka-city. Note that because of the location, they appear to be strict about having outside visitors. Nothing really.

I liked Town hotel for it's location. It was right near downtown where all the activity is. And it was very easy to walk to from the station. I spent an evening there meeting friends so it was really easy to get back to the hotel afterward. It wasn't a big deal to me since I wanted to be in a busier part of town, but it is not exactly secluded. It is right in the middle of bars and restaurants and there were very many people walking around and having fun during the nightlife hours. I wouldn't say this is a negative, just something to consider if you want something more quaint and removed.

Can't speak to breakfast, as I had to check out at 6 am, before breakfast offered at 7am. The room is very small, but very smartly laid out, and for my purposes, it was a great value, near Shizuoka Station. Too heavy a blanket for the warm weather.

Location in comparison to station was great and walkable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was a selection of pastries and soups that made for a nice breakfast. Variety of room consumables were a nice touch. Nothing.

Located in good location. Bathtub is quite bigger than other hotel. All good things here!!

Enjoyed the free drinks at the counter available 24/7. Appreciate the simple breakfast.
