We had a wonderful stay highlighted by incredibly spacious, spotless rooms and delicious food at the hotel restaurant. The entire staff was highly attentive, but a special thank you goes to the concierge, Pan, whose stellar English, friendliness, and exceptional recommendations made our sightseeing seamless. He truly went above and beyond, even gifting us some local currency from his personal collection when we mentioned we were collectors—his outstanding service made our trip unforgettable! While the property is well-maintained, the hotel is quite old, meaning the furniture, bathroom layouts, and facilities like the gym, pool, and sauna feel dated rather than modern. Additionally, while the breakfast buffet offered a great variety, the quality was average; the hot dishes were often lukewarm, and the bread was a bit stale. Finally, there was a frustrating disconnect with Booking.com; the platform stated that a late check-out was included in our rate, but the front desk staff had no record of this and pushed back when we requested it.

This is a true five star hotel. The pool and gym are great, as is the breakfast. We loved our room, which had a side view of the pool area. Location is nice. Close to the action, but not actually in it.

Staff were good and helpful I usually do not write any negative comments. But feel others really need to know this. The rooms are very very outdated and in need for some urgent modernisation. The toilet in room requires a lot of care when sitting down on. The toilet pan is inches from the shower cubicle. The worst let down for us was the breakfast. The breakfast is served from 6:00am. We had to go down early twice, due to early tour starts. On both occasions the, food was stone cold as though it has just been taken out of fridge/freezer (I am talking about food that is usually meant to be served hot, i.e noodles, rice and a lot more)I would expect the breakfast to be ready for 6:00am….:not starting to thaw at 6:00am. This was the worst experience of my life, with hotels. Based on this I find it very hard to recommend the accomodation. But I seriously hope, the property owner reads this and actions this. On out last day, the breakfast area was changed to a small room. I understand that this is due to not so many people staying in hotel, but I did not expect the breakfast range to be vastly reduced….(and again Stone cold), including coffee.

It is a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. It has a beautiful pool. The rooms are very nice. I was disappointed with the spa area and massage. It was in the basement, very dark and uninviting. The massage room was very basic, not nice. The masseuse put on music on her phone which stopped playing and she didn't turn it on again. She did not understand what I was saying to her. I was also disappointed in the massage. I had an herbal compress massage described in the brochure as "in conjunction with traditional Thai massage. The compresses did not seem herbal and there was no Thai massage as I have experienced it recently in Thailand. If you want a massage go to a recommended local place.

This is a great hotel with a traditional approach to service. All the staff are happy and helpful, as well as keen to be extra helpful. We dined there each evening also and the food was great, both Asian and Western dishes on the menu so we enjoyed some variety. Hard to find fault to put in here.

Very beautiful place the staff was very polite and professional. The room was very nice. My room view was not very good but that’s OK. The pool was very nice. I would stay here again. The room view was bad I would recommend getting a room that faces the pool
