Arkamara exceeded our expectations! The staff was so friendly and quick with their service. Our 2 bedroom villa with pool was very comfortable. I was sad to leave. We did the Ubud tour through the resort. Agung was our driver/guide and he was exceptional! Ask for him when you book your tour. He was so friendly, a great conversationalist and knowledgable about Bali since he is from the area. He entertained all our questions and was very patient while we took photos in front of the stunning views in Ubud. He was also great at taking photos!! We had the hotel pick and drop us off to and from from the airport. The ride was comfortable and felt safe. Highly recommend staying at Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud for your stay here!

Hotel facilities require an upgrade. The isolation is not great and lizards are easily getting into the room.

We stayed in a ground-floor terrace room, which was spacious, very well maintained, and opened directly to the garden and pool area. The garden was lovely, and the pool itself was large, clean, and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast area is located next to the pool with stunning jungle views. Breakfast is ordered from a menu and served fresh to your table. We appreciated the variety of options available, as there were choices suitable for guests from many different countries and cultures. We also attended the Italian Night at the rooftop restaurant. The buffet was excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They made us feel at home throughout our visit. We also used the laundry service and were very satisfied with both the quality and convenience. The following points are not negatives, but they may be useful for future guests. The hotel is somewhat isolated, so you will likely need a scooter or a car if you want to explore the surrounding area. In addition, the road leading to the hotel was quite dark and secluded at night, and due to ongoing roadworks, some sections were in poor condition during our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again.

A couple of small things to keep in mind: the pool gets limited sun during most of the day, and while the restaurant is nice, we found it a bit pricey for the experience.

Perfect resort, not very big, very nice atmosphere, great staff, very clean, nothing to complain about, would love to go back there again and relax.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole stay felt very luxurious. I enjoyed swimming in the pool and eating breakfast overlooking the jungle. The shuttle unto the Ubud centre was also very convenient.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, ok rooms The food: worst food we ever had in Asia. It was spectacularly bad. 6 dishes, all terrible. The cake was smelling like fish ?! How is that even possible. Overpriced: come on you can’t apply prices like this , add 21% on top.The prices are so absurd for the quality of the food and drinks. They offered us Prosecco for the New years Eve buy one get one free that they finally charged 20 usd ahah. It’s not about the price, but about the practice. Smell: ok there is a forest around, but is not allowed to use any parfume in the rooms ? Customers can’t be fooled forever with such practices. If you want to stay in this hotel, it’s totally fine and acceptable. Just don’t use any restaurant there.
