Just close to my road and staff tried to be a friendly.. I found dirty room and noise I can’t sleep well

İ like to environment, everything simple and fair for price. Only mosquitos, there are so disturbing than other mosquitos ? There are small and not showing mercy

Cleanliness

The location was decent and the price was cheap. I usually don’t write reviews, but I really wish I would have been warned before I stayed here. First off, I was eaten alive by bed bugs. Not just a few bites, but all up and down my arms. The mattress was just a simple piece of foam and it was difficult to get rest in the sweltering heat (only one old fan in the 5 bed dorm room and no ventilation). When I mentioned the bed bugs to the owner, he told me to try another bed (I stayed 2 nights) So, I left completely covered in bug bites. I am not that picky, but the place was very dirty, especially the bathrooms and common area. The men only seem interested in selling dolphin tours or motorbike rides and if you politely decline, they actually make you feel guilty about it, which was not a great feeling when you’re traveling and you just want to rest. I’ve stayed in many hostels before and this one was without a doubt the worst hostel experience I have ever had. There are many other options for only a couple more dollars. I would advise spending a little extra for a much better experience.

The reviews here are accordingly to the type of accommodation that someone is looking for. If the purpose is to just spend the night as cheap as possible then it’s perfect. The host is super welcoming and contributes big time to the experience. He taught me how to play domino and took me to a local chicken fight that was thrilling even if it was brutal ! Had a tradition breakfast for free and tea. Just spend the night and continued my trip. Having expectations is not recommended. It’s dirty, there are cockroaches in the bathroom and the single room has no windows therefore no fresh air. There is an annoying fan that does little to no job. BUT still better than sleeping in almost same conditions but also with other people.

The shower water smelled like ocean water and the toilet didn't have water to wash after doing the business. I had to use tissue, that works for Western people, but for me as an Asian, I would have appreciated it if there was a water pipe.

What a great hostel and people! I had such a great stay and met some amazing people! Location is amazing (pure center of Lovina), price is affordable and the staff is the best! Huge thanks to Ayu for helping me with everything possible during my stay! ? The owner is also really kind and chilled person! The hostel vibe and like minded travelers makes you stay longer than expected which was my case. I highly recommend this hostel and I will come here for sure if I visit Northern Bali again! Every night, a diving instructor comes there to spoil your sleep by getting you to drinks and you don't feel like going for the dolphin dive in the early morning. So ,stay away from him.

Everything as expected

Beds were really basic and I'm tall so I, personally had a hard time getting comfortable. Otherwise a very efficient place.
