place is under remodel staff we're woderful

Room and hotel need general maintenance done. I’d look elsewhere as can probably get a better room for same price. They also tried to charge me a $50 deposit for any damages.

It was close to the Denny Sanford Center. The bed was comfortable. I liked that there was also an actual recliner in the room. You can tell that it needs some TLC. The air conditioner made weird noises and made it hard to sleep.

Cheap and cheerful! We felt welcomed and the breakfast selection was excellent for the family Some minor fixes could be made to rooms to update to bring up but can’t complain for the price

Aging facilities. Nice staff. All tile floors and pets in guest rooms. Smoking has been illegal for years. But now i forget to ask about pets. Dont have them in my house so dont want rent facilities with the hair and dander.

Very disappointed. Baymont used to be reliably clean, well maintained, reasonably priced hotels. Sioux Falls was in horrible repair. The sheets were clean with no sign of bed bugs but that is where the positives begin & end. After I checked the mattress & linens my DH informed me there had been a $50 damages hold put on our credit card. WTH? So I got out my phone before we even brought in our luggage because I had already noticed a baseboard trying to fall off the wall holding on for dear life with what appeared to be yellowed glue. There was toothpaste spatter on the faucet, some mystery goo in the shower and the walls had not been wiped down in recent memory. The lighting could only be likened to my hall nightlight at home. Forget applying makeup. The worst though was the odor. The AC was pumping out a musty, rotten smell. Possibly the filter &/or the drain needed cleaning. I went to the car & got my emergency disinfectant spray & rag for toilet, knobs, faucets, etc. (things we had to touch) as it was too late to cancel so we were stuck paying for a dismal room. Breakfast was what I expected after the state of the room: hard, tiny biscuits, bagged slimy gravy & generally a sad, un-appetizing assortment of despair. When we checked out I requested the room be inspected before we left & was sure to mention I had photos of before & after our stay. We were not going to be held liable for the shoddy maintenance of the property. Do Not Recommend especially considering what we paid

Room was disgusting. Walked into the room and it was muggy and smelt like mold. There were holes that had just been patched in the drywall that hadn’t been painted yet. Behind the toilet hadn’t been painted in years.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was ok, and the air conditioner cooled the room. I would stay here again.

Pool and breakfast may be to two nicest parts of this hotel. Pool, although very small, was clean. The rest needs major updating. Toilet hardly flushed and looked to be from 1980. Shower would hardly drain.
