the arrangement here is good for winters. Most of the hotels in skardu areas are closed during winters. This hotel also had hot water and heating. and their room rates were also reasonable and the market is also close by, so you can choose this hotel during your trips.

Unfortunately I had a really bad experience when exploring Skardu town; however, the owner here was so caring. He helped me book a bus to Gilgit and took me to his another hostel which has a terrace with a stunning view. Hot shower worked. Highly recommended

Mr Ayub the manager and his staff Were very helpful and accommodating . The food was excellent . The price for accommodation was very good . All kinds of shops nearby

I have stayed at Dewan Khas Hotel twice. And came back again in December. It is in a very quiet place within the city. I have stayed in this hotel many times, especially in winters they have a great heating system, as most hotels in Skardu have no heating facility. I highly recommend ayub khan staf and his local Balti food and Balti prapro baly.

The room was clean, secure and spacious. The bathroom was well equipped and the restaurant has brilliant food at reasonable prices. Ayab really helped me with drivers and translating for tour guides. My stay couldnt have been better. Everything was brilliant.

Excellent location. You can walk to all the major parts of the town. Nice restaurant. Good selection of food. Friendly staff. Accepts credit cards. Powercut is quite often in Skardu. The hotel has a generator. WiFi works usually in the restaurant at certain hours. Constant water problem in the room. It is difficult to take a shower. The rooms aren't cleaned properly and they were probably never vacuum cleaned. There was trash from the previous guests. There was sticky and gluey stuff on the table. so I regretted putting my things on it.

The location in the middle of Skardu is nice. You can walk to most places within the town quite easily. There is a restaurant and while I did not eat the food, it looked nice. The Wifi (which only works in the restaurant) works quite well and the showers have hot water (though it takes a bit to figure out how the boiler works) There are many things to list here. I understand it is a budget option, but you still do not expect to see actual trash left in your room from previous guests. There were bottles, cups, and other trash just lying around the room. The hotel was subject to frequent power cuts. There was a generator, but it was only used for the restaurant. The staff said that if the power in the rooms was gone for long, they would turn it on, but one morning there was no power for 3 hours in the rooms. In addition, the water cut out for more than a day during my stay, meaning that I showered with bottled mineral water. Oh - and there is a power outlet right next to the shower - I am not sure who on earth designs these things.. I talked to them the night before leaving about arranging a taxi the next morning at 8 to get to the airport. Not only was there no taxi at 8, but the staff were also sleeping at the time so there was no chance to check out. To credit the guy working there, he did help me get a taxi, but if I had been in a hurry I would have been very angry. Honestly - while it is a budget option and it is hard to fix things like power and water, the least they could do is clean up the trash in the rooms and the hallway and put it in the bin.

Sir Ayub’s hospitality was beyond excellent. I would give him 6 stars out of 5.His communication skills are excellent. He contacted me before my arrival. My flight was cancelled. He was also very accomodating when my reservation for another hotel was cancelled.He was very good about explaining everything.Very knowledgeable about this area.He also arranged excellent driver Adeel for me who also knows this area very well.If you are looking for affordable place to crash for the night.This is your place. Located in Skirdu bazaar.Everything is at walking distance. I am pleased with everything.
