Park Hotel Amfora -Free Parking

We liked the view, parking, nearby a National Park,great host. I left left the keys at reception when we left. Thank you!

The room was cold. No heating. There were some little heaters.

There was a free parking The bathroom was not draining. The WC was not filling up water. The room was not clean enough.

Location is good. You can easily walk 7min and take the tram that goes to Sofia city center. Also you are close to the nature. Close by you have a water fountain where locals go to collect water. Bed is comfortable and the room is well equipped in terms of plugs. The parking is inside the premises, which is great. It says on booking that it is a pet friendly hotel but when arrived, I got charged 10 euros per night for the pet and of course, no invoice stating the charge was pet related. (in our case, we carried a cat). The owner expected the cat to be closed in a bag or box during our absence to ensure the cat would not ruin any furniture or create any mess. Our cat is well behaved and trapping a cat into a small tiny space in our absence would make no sense and just create stress. The owner has a prejudice against government control, taxes, and was always present and controlling who gets inside the property. Every time we arrived, she would randomly appear to say Hi and staring for a bit...There was not a good sense of freedom. We decided to stay because is not easy to find pet friendly places with parking. Still, hotel management issues on complying with the law is definitely not a customer concern, and for someone running a hotel and providing services, it should be a priority! The shower can leave some water in the bathroom floor. I recommend you to take some slippers.

Very poor

Very peaceful place at the foot of the mountains. There are two really good traditional Bulgarian restaurants very close by. Easy access by foot to the tram and subway to get around Sofia (Google maps tells you everything.) Also there's a supermarket nearby if you want to buy things. I prefered to stay there rather than in the city centre as it is so peaceful and relaxing in the forest. The owner was extremely friendly and chatted with me often. Whenever I needed anything she was there. Beautiful surroundings, room was nice, with a balcony. Snacks and hot drinks were available at a good price, variety of Bulgarian beers. Thanks! Nothing to complain about.

It was quiet, lovely garden No air conditioner , questionable cleanliness, very old furniture

clean and short. we slept one night there. the yard is very nice, rustic. the room was spacoius and clean. the staff was welcoming.
