We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel de la Ville in Sorrento. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful and impeccably clean, and every detail is thoughtfully maintained. The staff truly made our stay special. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento and would gladly stay here again!The only downside was that the stunning rooftop pool closed quite early. After a full day of sightseeing, it would have been wonderful to relax, cool off, and enjoy the beautiful views until sunset.

The staff were wonderful The building was older. The pool was not modern and you are looking at cracks on outside of the building. The spa part of pool wasn’t working. I also switch rooms for an upgrade and it was older furniture and there was blood on the pillow case.

Breakfast, bars, and lunch/dinner services we're all great! Nice clean room and friendly staff. Killer views from the rooftop and central location. Their ordering / tablet system seemed to be giving their staff some trouble. Just took a little long for them to figure out the system it seemed, but not a huge deal.

The rooms have beautiful balconies, especially on floors higher up becasue of the view. The rooftop pool/bar has a gorgeous view of the sunset. The staff are nice, breakfast was always a thrill. Asides for no complimentary water in the rooms, nothing. It was worth every penny spent. 100% recommend

Strong odor of gas in our room. We were told it was a known issue but since the hotel doesn't use gas, there is nothing they can do. Made me nervous and uncomfortable for the entire stay.

View from pool Bar at pool closing too early at 6:30pm Breakfast not opening until 7 am caused us to rush through it for a few days to get to our scheduled tours. On departure day we had to skip breakfast because our taxi left at 6:45.

Beautiful view from the balcony and walking distance from the town. Felt that the soundproofing should be better. Could hear anything in the hallway and next door. Also bathroom shower needs update tub so high to climb into, hardly any room. Also a constant whirring in bathroom, maybe a vent but loud and annoying.

The room was nice and clean. The stuff were the best, very nice also very patient, love them. Breakfast could better. The food was not bad but the selections were limited.
