Il Giardino Segreto

Our stay at Il Giardino Segreto was exceptional from beginning to end. We traveled to Sorrento to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday, and this hotel made the experience even more memorable. Although we arrived before the official check-in time, Vera welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality. She invited us in, treated us to delicious coffee and sweet pastries, and immediately made us feel at home. Vera went above and beyond by helping us plan our time in Sorrento. She shared wonderful recommendations for activities, restaurants, transportation, and local tips that made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. Her kindness, knowledge, and attention to detail truly enhanced our trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located, but what really sets Il Giardino Segreto apart is the incredible hospitality. Vera is a wonderful host who made us feel like family from the moment we arrived until the day we left. If you're looking for a charming place to stay in Sorrento with outstanding service, I cannot recommend Il Giardino Segreto highly enough. We would gladly stay here again and will always remember the warmth and care we received. We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay at IL Giordano Segreto! I wouldn’t change anything about our experience!

This property is very clean and beds are comfortable. It was Close to everything-train station, buses, boat pier to Capri and restaurants and shopping. Vera was kind and welcoming. Answered all our questions called for our luggage ti be taken to the port. She even gave us a jar of her delicious homemade jelly! Definitely THE place to stay because it was a home away from home. thanks Vera for making our stay in Sorento a wonderful stress free vacation. nothing

Everything about the property, including Vera, the amazing host, was fantastic. You are steps away from the start of the historic area and it is lively and bustling outside. Inside, however, is quiet and our windows looked onto hillsides and gardens making it feel as though we were staying in the country. The bathroom is large and clean with a shower head that is probably the best in a hotel that I have ever had. It was extremely hot when we were there but the AC worked great and was quiet. Big metal shutters (that close/open electronically) keep out heat and light if you want it dark to sleep). Vera was so helpful, providing us information about the train, making homemade brioche and jams for breakfast. She made it feel like we were so taken care of. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone going to Sorrento. The room was big enough for my family of four (two teens). Without the extra two people there would have been a couch to sit on so even more spacious. The little private terrace was cute and my daughter and I sat out there briefly to do some of her homework, but it was too hot a day for us to sit for long. Bed was very comfortable and my terms say the sofa bed was also comfortable. Thank you Vera! I can’t think of anything I wish had been different.

The property is lovely! Our room was beautifully decorated, the beds (and pillows!) were very comfortable, and the bathroom was much larger than many other accommodations in Europe. We had a small patio which was very helpful for drying towels and swim suits after a day at the beach. The property is also in a fantastic location and an easy walk to the train station and to the beach. Our host was absolutely delightful. Vera definitely pays attention to details and everything we could have needed was available. There were even small snacks and cold waters waiting us in our room upon arrival which was a welcome treat after a day of traveling to Sorrento. She arranged us transportation from the Naples airport; made a delicious, fresh breakfast for us every morning; and helped answer any questions about Sorrento. We could not have asked for a better stay.

Vera is a very gracious hostess. She made us feel at home! Our room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The property is very central and close to everything.

Vera was very welcoming & helpful and her home made brioche every morning was amazing! Our room & private terrace were bellisimo and the bed was very comfortable. The location is central to everything in Sorrento. We will definitely stay here again when we return to beautiful Sorrento! For folks with mobility issues note that there are several flights of stairs to get to her B&B.

Homemade breakfast with love! This was the cleanest spot we stayed during our entire journey. It is centrally located but so quiet at night. The air conditioning was excellent! I wished we could have stayed longer ? Nothing

Vera was an amazing host—very communicative, kind and welcoming. Also, the location is perfect for exploring. Highly recommended.

Great location. Walk to everything. Surprisingly quiet at night with good windows and shutters. The room is large and comfortable. Air conditioning is excellent. Best of all the host Vera is kind and wonderful and so helpful. Breakfast included with freshly made brioche each day.

Large clean and comfortable rooms in the heart of town. Vera was a wonderful host, solving all of our needs and providing a lovely breakfast with her delicious jams. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Vera was full of recommendations. So lovely to wake up and hear church bells ringing in the day. There are stairs, if that matters to you, however for us, Vera made sure we had help with our luggage.

Vera was very welcoming and kind. Our room was beautiful and very spacious with comfortable beds, and the bathroom was large and very clean. We loved it. There were many steps up to our room, which could be a problem for some people.

Beautiful accommodations with comfortable bed and pillow pillows. There was plenty of space for the three of us and we had an outdoor terrace that we could enjoy gelato on as we relaxed each night. It was close to everything from the train and bus station to the marina to shopping and dining… The hostess Vera was wonderful and so helpful and sweet. No complaints!

The location, comfort, value, and above all Vera’s kindness - all exceeded expectations! We enjoyed everything about the property.

The location could not be more perfect! It is near bus and train stations; steps away from where tours leave, and within a 1 minute walk to every shop and restaurant you could ever want. A PERFECT location combined with a caring, host and immaculate room makes this a PERFECT place to stay! I will be back! There isn’t anything I did not like- no kidding.

We were welcomed by Vera and shown our room which was lovely. A large room with a double aspect, fresh, clean and very comfortable. We both slept very well. Breakfast was gorgeous with freshly baked brioche which was gorgeous, homemade jams and scrambled eggs. We would definitely recommend this to friends and family

We loved the location! This bed and breakfast is right on Piazza Tazzo, close to the Ferry and the train, shopping and restaurants. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. It has all the amenities of any large hotel. Vera was a wonderful host; catering to our requests and making the best eggs for breakfast! I left some items in the safe.? They were gifts for my friends. She took the time from her busy schedule to get them in the mail to me-from Sorrento Italy to Florida! I loved our stay. It was such a memorable experience, and Vera made it happen. There was nothing I didn't like.
