Great location and view The breakfast was not what we expected

About the room: I will start with what this accommodation really is like, because after reading the reviews and visiting it was not very clear. To reach this room, you have to enter a code on the outside gate, then enter another code in a building. This building is one of many in the complex. To enter "Blu sea sorrento" you enter a code to a room which leads into a hallway that has 3-4 different rooms. Our room was through one of these 4 doors. I'll begin with the positives: the bed was comfortable, there was a mini fridge and we had a balcony. The room: The room I found much smaller than it looks in the photos. The shower is incredibly small and was tough to shower in honestly. I think the room could have been cleaner, there was dust on things and the shower/sink could have also been a bit cleaner. We did get new towels and the room made up each day. The balcony really made the room, I would not recommend a room without a balcony. There was also a safe and mini fridge in the room. No toiletries were provided either just shower caps, shower gel and hand soap attached to the wall. The blow drier was also horrible to use it sucked hair into the back of it multiple times and burnt it so be careful. Communication: I found communication with the host to be quite poor. I reached out 2 weeks before our stay to ask a question, texted again a week later about check in time and finally 2 days before check in saying "hello?" with no responses. Finally the day before check in I got a response saying she would send check in information shortly and then finally did many hours later. No one was there to greet us but the check in instructions were very detailed. Once in the room I noticed stains on some pillows and texted her about this but did not get a reply so I called. She did pick up the phone immediately though and came to change the pillow cases within the hour. Check out time is also listed as "7:30am-11am", however at 10:30am we got a knock on our door from the woman who came to clean and she told us check out is always at 10:30am which was not clear and we were rushed out of the room essentially. Breakfast: We chose the breakfast included option and received "breakfast cards" for each morning we were there. You take these breakfast cards to the cafe next to the building complex where you get a croissant and an espresso/cappuccino for breakfast. There was no free water/coffee/snacks/ fruit provided. Overall I would not stay here again and I wouldn't recommend it but the location is a plus.

The unit we stayed was great. We felt very safe. None of the pools were open. We would have liked instructions for the stove top working. Great location

Great view of Mt Vesuvius and the town from the balcony! Well located, just a 8-10 minute walk to the busy Piazza Tasso. Room was spotless and sufficient size for a couple. Bathroom has the small shower common in European rentals, worked out fine. Host left free bottle of water and tea making supplies, which was nice. There were also some items in the mini fridge for a charge if needed. Small common area shared by the other units was bright and cheerful…apart from occasionally hearing other guests pass by the door, we never were bothered by noise. Not complaints, just things to be aware of: The included breakfast provided by the bar next door is pretty basic with limited options. This was not a problem for us, but those desiring more substantial fare may want to eat elsewhere. Also, several different codes needed to get into the apartment…necessary security for sure, but took a couple days to get them all straight!

Very centrally located, near city center , very near train station and bus station. Free breakfast was next door and it was good. Our room had no balcony or table to eat that was in picture in website .

We loved our stay at Blu Sea Sorrento! The view from the balcony was amazing and the place was comfortable. The pool is great and we loved spending time there at the end of each day to relax. The apartment was also very well located within 5-10 minutes from downtown and bus station. We were able to walk everywhere. Food for breakfast is not included (just tea and coffee) but there is a Carrefour Express (grocery store) nearby to get what you need for your stay.

Spectacular view of Mount Vesuvius. Spacious suite with full kitchen, awesome bathroom, balcony, and comfortable sleeping. Appreciated the great breakfast that was provided each day in the public area. The bathroom was far from the bedroom; had to travel through rest of the apartment to get to the bathroom.

The property itself was nice with the pool grounds, etc.. The actual room and apartment set up was not that great. Breakfast was decent, but everything is self-serve. The room is tiny. Balcony was nice. Small bathroom, Had the tiniest shower I’ve ever seen in My life, was not very clean. The floor was dirty in our room and the breakfast area floor, which is basically just the hallway was also dirty,no lobby of sorts or interaction with anybody, very self serve… was glad we were only staying here one night Would not stay here again.

It was ok, nicely decorated. The pool is nice, but the hotel doesn’t provide towels and it’s not allowed to take the ones from the room. Air conditioning was good. There was no one around during check-in, checkout or breakfast, but we communicated via texts.

Kitchen well equipped for those who want to cook. Stand in shower was too small and cramped . Breakfast very basic and not much for vegans (bread, juice with concentrate not fresh, small croissants, whole fruit)

Nice and comfortable apartment, good location, easy to go in the room without the keys, it has everything you need. Smell from the aircondition, there is even a warning on the AC that filters should be removed. There is a stair on the way from the room to the bathroom, you can get hurt on the night if you are not careful. There is no place to sit in the breakfast, it is served in the hallway.

Location was about 10 minutes from main shopping and dining, it was clean, safe and quiet, breakfast had several options, good air conditioning, check in was flexible and easy Would have liked better pillows
