Reasonably quiet location and very handy for Heavenly village and the Lake. Hotel is dog friendly, thus expect to hear barking dogs at times
-
Very small beds even king size beds, no phonic isolation if you next door neighbor sneezes you will hear it
-
Great location. Needs updating in rooms and bathrooms. Beds were extremely comfortable!

with the heated pools

Got an upgrade to two bedroom w queen beds. Close to the heavenly gondola and shops. About 20 mins to Baldwin beach. Great helpful staff.

You’re probably better off staying somewhere else for a night. My hotel unit alone had absolutely no working doors. From the entrance, bedroom, and bathroom doors would either not close or close slightly. That also goes for shower doors. The cleaning staff also didn’t even bother coming in to clean or replace towels. With this last critique I’ll be done, but even the bath tub wasn’t working. Didn’t even spout water at all.

Having a kitchen was very useful and comfortable. A TV in the living area and in each bedroom was great.

Ours was not the typical stay. We booked two weeks in advance for an 8 night stay and stayed in a larger suite with the kitchenette. we needed this for 2 toddlers and a dog. on day 6, we returned to the hotel to find the entire property in darkness. the front desk was turning away multiple check-ins because there was a transformer blow-up that couldn;t be repaired till next morning. to their credit, the staff including jessica and emmet were accomodating and offered refunds for the remaining nights. however, we wanted to speak to the general manager or the owner to ask them to hurry up repairs or find us accommodation in an alternate hotel. they refused to come forward and instead had the front desk take the brunt of the irate customers. after we had checked in and paid for an alternate hotel for the remainder of our stay, the lights came back as we returned to our room to take out our stuff. this was hard on the kids and our dog who'd had a long day. i think the staff is good, but management needs to be communicative and open to compensating customers. also, the cleaning staff doesnt do a great job of vacuuming the carpets (housekeeping is only on request). we were refunded for 1 night, to top: there's no dearth of seedy looking customers doing weed at all times of day and night. the one positive: the lake marina access passes. if you're in south lake tahoe with family, avoid this place, better options near it.

I am so disappointed in this resort, I really wanted to stay here for future stays mainly because of the location and the pool and hot tubs were perfect for kids. But please! Stay away! The front desk is unprofessional and passive aggressive. After checkout they attempted to charge my card at least 4 times in 24hours until I had them blocked through my bank. They refused to answer calls, or call back. I left voicemails and they were ignored. Today has been a week since our stay and I attempted to call again to clear the air and find out why it is that they continued to charge my card without responding as to why and the front desk manager was Extremely passive aggressive during the phone call. She claims I was charged $160 because I did not return pool towels to the front desk although they were left right inside the room. I explained that to her and she said it does not matter the pool towels need to be brought back to the front desk. And because my charge did not go through, and because of my “angry” voicemails I am now on their do not rent to list. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that you can charge somebody for something that was left in the room and then not answer phone calls regarding this unauthorized charge and not return voicemails then to be put on a do not rent to list without my knowledge. She then hung up on me. Please avoid this scam of a business! Very unprofessional!

Ok, Im beginning to think that these reviews of places are not legit on Expedia! This place had good reviews, but it’s no better than a hostel. We stayed in a room that had awful lighting, mold by the bathroom tub, a window that was hard to open and a bathroom door that did not close without waking up my traveling partner. The beds were clean, but the place was nothing to write home about. I don’t consider myself bouige, but maybe I am. If you’re looking for just a bed and hot shower, this is your place. It is, however, conventionally located to lots of shopping. Staff was sweet too! My grade for this place is a “C-“.

I liked my stay at 3 Peaks, updated rooms and overall nice grounds, the staff was very friendly and helpfuland everything was clean. Pet friendly place which is great. The beach near them does not allow dogs.

We had a problem with the air conditioner, which wouldn't stop dripping. I called reception and they said they would check it, but no one showed up during our three-day stay.

The staff was great, very kind and very helpful. Ifelt i was paying for a motel 6 room, ive stayed at better motel 6, very outdated.

its ok place

It’s not a super upscale resort it is older and a little bit dated, but the inside has a beautiful cabin feel. The staff was amazing. It’s just a little bit rundown of a place but that’s expected for off the strip in Tahoe. Would stay here again.
