Located in the heart of Transylvania, Ensana Sovata is only 656 feet from the helio-thermal Lake Bear, featuring salty water. It offers free WiFi and a breakfast buffet. All bright rooms with attached bathroom provide a balcony, a satellite TV, a mini-bar and air conditioning. Nonsmoking, allergy-friendly and wheelchair accessible rooms are available as well. Guests of the Ensana Sovata can benefit from the spa area with swimming pool, salt-water pool, sauna, steam bath, adventure bath, relaxation room, fitness room and free bathrobe use. A free ticket to the Lake Bear is provided in July and August. Lake Bear (Lacu Ursu), the only helio-thermal lake on the continent, heats up to 50 degrees Celsius due to sun energy absorbed through the upper, fresh-water layers. It is also called the Dead Sea of Transylvania because of its high concentration of dissolved salts.

Spa facilities have been closed for most of the time which was huge disappointment.

We enjoyed the breakfast, the room. We appreciate the personnel who makes sure in the Spa area that the rules are followed by all the guests (using the towels in the sauna, silence areas). The minibar has no proper ventilation (enclosed in furniture) so it doesn't cool well.

Room was great with balcony and hotel centraly located Sadly we could not stay but one night and a day and take advantage of the great ammenities and spa- treatment center because we had a death in the family and had to leave in the middle of the night Staff was so empathic and nice to help us get to train station in Sighisoara and also reimburse us for the rest of the week which we booked and paid already We will return for sure We can not thank them enough for what they did for us in that difficult moment What was not to like

Breakfast superb location superb about 200 m from the lake nice views to the lake. The spa facilities were superb and impressive. Not much staff could be friendlier

There were a few things, some noises in the room and some problems in the bathroom, which made our stay just very good, instead of perfect. I think we were just unlucky, because otherwise the place looked really well arranged everywhere. Even if the staff did their best to help, the room we had couldn't be fixed while we were there. Also, it could have been a bit cleaner. I think for 4 stars, I expected perfection in the room, and my expectations were too high. A few details at the spa made things somewhat less pleasant. Some showers were working just when they wanted, and some feet cleaning little pools were sometimes out of order, but then fixed. You could always find other showers, which were working, but I would have expected everything to work flawlessly.

I loved the Spa area, the treatments, the food, very clean room and actually all facilities. The Bar area could be more intimate and lively. It was at times in the evening entirely empty.

I liked everything, the hotel is renovated and beautiful everywhere, breakfast and dinner are bountiful, the pools are fun, sauna was great.
