The location. It seems like we were misled because there are four different hotels operating in the same building. We stayed here three years ago and thought we had booked the same hotel, but we hadn’t. Unfortunately, the hotel (or floor) we ended up in this time was nowhere near the same standard. The room was very basic, with only the bare minimum amenities. The bed had just two very flat, worn-out pillows, and the pillowcases did not smell freshly laundered. I ended up covering the pillow with a towel before sleeping. The towels themselves were old, rough, and overdue for replacement. The biggest disappointment, however, was the parking recommendation. This hotel recommends a nearby parking garage, which is even listed on its Booking.com page. We trusted that recommendation, only to end up paying €212 for two nights of parking. That is an astonishing amount to charge guests, and I cannot understand why a hotel would direct its customers to such an expensive option without any warning or suggesting more affordable alternatives. Overall, this stay was a major disappointment. Between the lower-quality accommodations and the shockingly expensive parking recommendation, we left feeling let down and unlikely to return.

Good location. Helpful staff. Room was a little small

Location. No hot water on our last day. Whole building was out. TV didn't work the entire time we were there, even though we asked for it to be fixed. We asked for financial compensation For the issue of no hot water and was told I would hear back, i've sent emails and have heard nothing.

Great location that comes with a lot of noise which is expected. I went during low season and was able to hear all the conversations from the people downstairs in the area. After 11pm it quiet down but you definitely hear everything. With that being said, the location is great. I was able to walk from the bus station to the hotel. It can be a little bit of a maze to get to it but once you are there you will love it. There are three hotels at the same address, all using the same door (which in my case got stuck and the girl from reception came and got me). They are on the 3rd floor. The reception is only available until 10pm so if you are arriving later than that, I'd suggest letting them know to make arrangements as no one will be there. The room was beautiful. I was transported into history. The bed was comfortable and the room was big enough not to feel cramped in. The hot water was more like lukewarm than hot but it did its job. Back to location, there is a small grocery store about 50 meters from the hotel, a bakery around the corner and many restaurants that in my case were not opened, low season and all. Can't really think of anything I did not like.

We had a lovely stay at Central Square Heritage. The location is fantastic—right in a pedestrian-only area, surrounded by bakeries, cafes, and restaurants. It’s perfect for stepping out for a quick drink or dinner and soaking in the atmosphere. A quick tip: call ahead before arriving, as cars can’t access the area and someone can come help with bags. It can also be a bit tricky to find at first, since there’s no large signage—just a small sign by the door—and the reception is on the 3rd floor. We visited during the off-season, so breakfast wasn’t available, but with so many great food options just downstairs, it wasn’t an issue at all. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, and gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat and explore. Overall, a great place to unwind in the evening while being right in the heart of everything. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. What truly made my experience exceptional was the cleanliness. A special thank you to housekeeper Diane, who took care of my room—she did an outstanding job. She even congratulated my bayram and gave gifts. Her work and her friendly attitude made a big difference. It’s clear she takes great pride in what she does. I would happily stay here again.

You realy can't ask for a better location in Split. I'm semi-local in Croatia and often have to travel through Split in the off season. I very much appreciate the off-season rates and the chance to stay in such a cool heritage building for an affordable price. The room is beautiful and very well equipped, and the friendly staff makes it an even better experience. Thank you! Nothing!

Location AC is not working . Too hot inside the room

Big room. Big bed. Big bathroom. Lots of electricity plugs. Housekeeping service outstanding Location impeccable. Off-season price amazing I was unaware there was no breakfast in the winter

This place is amazing. It’s a beautiful historic hotel on the main square in Split. This is what I’d expect from a €250 per night hotel.

The shower head in our room was broken, a detail but still. The cleaning only works in the morning so if you want to sleep in your room won't be cleaned.
-
Location. The bed was too soft. Some Fourniture needs replacement.

It was beautiful and charming, and the location was amazing, right on the main square of the old town. We are so grateful to Iva at Reception. She was a most gracious and accommodating hostess. We loved everything about the property!

The sofa bed was uncomfortable for the friend that stayed on it.

Great location. Cheap. At arrival was very hard to find the entrance to the hotel because there is no sign. Upon entering in the bathrom, realized that the bathroom was not properly cleaned up (toilet, mirror). At departure, the recepcionist did not even bother to ask “how was the trip or was everything okay”.

Great location, close to all the old town activities We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and our room and bathroom were not cleaned on a daily basis. Had to complain to the receptionist, who came in and mopped the floor. Chandelier in the bedroom was very dusty and looked like it had not been cleaned in years. When the AC was turned on, we could see dust flying off the chandelier on to the bed
