DEA was very prompt in responding to questions and offering to arrange transportation. She was there to check us in very friendly. The garden area walking in was very beautiful. Room was nice and cool on a very hot day. It was a great place to stay. N/A

Location is good in the sense that it is within easy walking distance to Split old town. The location of the hotel is nice as it is on older cobblestone street. Rooms are updated and clean. The lady at the breakfast was really nice and friendly. The breakfast was decent. Hotel is tough to locate using google maps and I had to walk around after parking to actually find the place. The parking area is ratty. You have to lug your bags up some stone stairs to get to the hotel from the parking area. When we arrived there was no one at the place to welcome us - you have to call to get the keys like an AirBnB. The hotel has energy saving lights so quite dark when you enter.

Great location, in a cute, typical neighborhood just about a five-minute walk from the Eastern Gate of Diocletian's Palace. My room was on the ground floor, so no view, but it was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. They were flexible and allowed me to leave my luggage before my room was ready and then moved it into my room once it was, which made my arrival day easy. The ground floor room is a bit dark, because it only has one window that's fairly close to another building, but this didn't affect my comfort at all. (And if you're out and about most of the day anyway, you don't really even notice.)
