Northfield Inn, Suites & Conference Center

A pretty well maintained hotel. The complimentary breakfast had the staples- including hot options. The room was what you would expect. Adequate. There were a handful of minor annoyances, but no deal breakers. Non working outlets and a frozen over, wobbly fridge for example. Decently clean. We appreciated the easy access from the parking lot, the nice seating area out front and the ice tea in the lobby. The location is near several places to grab a bite and shop. Really our only qualm, was housekeeping opening our door more than once both days— despite having the Do Not Disturb sign up and responding that the room was occupied. We were woken up by housekeeping trying to enter our room hours before checkout. And then disturbed again an hour or so later. Glad we had learned our lesson from being walked in on the day before and had the security latch in place😅. Otherwise a satisfactory stay and we would stay here again.

Very clean and great place to stay. It’s just a little worn and needs a few updates but overall would stay here again.

Clean, nice staff and I’d definitely stay again

Nice hotel, great staff, decent breakfast! I definitely give it 4 stars, and only not giving it 5 stars for the simple fact the hotel is older. Has a very nice indoor pool. The suite we had with the hot tub was amazing and clean. We were only there for 1 night but I would stay again if needed in Springfield, IL.

Great stay, a little pricey for the property and area but overall, very nice. Great water pressure. Would stay here agian.

The hotel is well categorized. It is by no means anything close to a five-star hotel. However within it's 2.5-Star rating, it deserves five stars. I would have like a slightly better breakfast on the hot side, like home fries (cubes instead of sticks like French fries). There's a fridge in the room, but no freezer. I had freezer packs I needed frozen for the next day. Fortunately, the staff accommodated ìt by letting me use their break room freezer. Clean and comfortable. And well situated. Great value!

Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was very good. Good selection and everything was fresh. Staff was did an awesome job at replenishing eggs, cleaning up spills, etc. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff is friendly and accommodating; the room was clean and comfortable. The humidifier in the room was a nice touch. The breakfast was good.

Lovely hotel, convenient to the Lincoln sites we wanted to see. Although the surrounding area is not in the most upscale part of town, the inn itself is modern, clean, has great furnishings and comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again, great value.

It was close to the interstate and was clean. My daughter’s room was overlooking the indoor pool, their room smelled like chlorine.

I noticed that the toilet was very wobbly, and we kept hearing the water running from it. But over all this was a great place and I can’t wait to come back again.
