Remote didn't work, bathroom door would not shut all the way. Room was not very clean.

Room was perfect for a good night sleep after a concert at the Grandstand. Friendly staff. Felt safe. Very nice cold air conditioner and comfy clean beds. Got what we needed for the great price.

We were unable to check in at the official 3pm check in time, even after calling ahead of time to see if our room was ready. We were told yes, but it was not ready due to only two maids showing

The person who checked us in was really nice. Our room smelled like an ashtray. It was horrible. The bed had burn holes all over the covers. I pulled the sheets back and I dont think those sheets had been changed. There was a big yellow stain on the bed as well as hair and dirt. The floor was nasty had not been swept just mopped. Went back to the desk and got a refund.

Location is fine. The price was affordable compared to other hotels, especially during the State Fair, which is why we were there. It's a very basic motel that served it's purpose for an overnight stay. The room was clean and the gentleman at the desk was kind and courteous. Needs updated badly, very outdated. Beds are very uncomfortable with small, pretty much flat pillows. Bathroom is very small. And the outlets that are built into the small light fixture by the beds are very loose and wouldn't keep my phone charger plugged in, it kept falling out. So, a couple of us had to put our phones somewhere else in the room to charge, which isn't too big of a deal but it was inconvenient. Staff tries to do their best with what there is there. I think if some renovations were done to upgrade the rooms and improvements to the outside it has great potential

Check in was easy. Got into the room and the dead bolt wouldn’t lock, the sheets had big yellow stains, there was looked like dried blood on the floor and there was a square shaped hole cut out of the wall with clothes shoved in it. Requested a room change and they accommodated. New room was better, but not perfect. Worked for a quick one night stay were we just needed somewhere to sleep.

Easily the most uncomfortable bed of any hotel ever experienced.
