Great location and quiet rooms

EVERYTHING! Service was excellent. Breakfast was fine. POOL and HOT TUB were awesome. Grounds immaculate. Loved the beautiful surroundings and staff were so quick to maintain everything.

Very convenient location and nicely kept property and cute room. I highly recommend it.

El Bonita Motel is an affordable, clean, convenient place to stay for an evening or two.

This was a cute renovated property. It looks like it used to be an old motel building, but they added some retro styling and updating in the rooms. Very new looking and up to date, but a cute retro style. Very comfortable. At first we thought we would hear road noise, but with the new windows, we didn't hear anything. I would stay here again. They could use to add some other items to their breakfast, but it was continental as advertised. The breakfast room was fairly spacious for the size of the property and was kept pretty clean. The staff was very friendly. Great spot for the price.

We were disappointed with El Bonita. On a positive side, our room was clean and well maintained. On the downside, breakfast was served, but, other than coffee and tea, nothing hot. Bagels & croissants, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, were available, but no pancakes, waffles, omelets - anything like that. Our room was to have a queen-sized bed, but it was just a double bed. People in an adjoining room were quite noisy around midnight our last night, and we were awakened by a strong pounding on their door. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night, and the room rate doubled that last night. We won't be going back.

I’ve been staying here for years. It feels like a little hidden Gem.

I love this location. It wasn’t like a normal motel. It more was like a mini resort. I also appreciated how well maintain the property was. I cannot wait to go back.

This was a great spot to stay with a few friends for a night. We had the 3 bed suite, and it was a great price for the size of the space. Excellent location close to many wineries and tasting rooms. The room could have been cleaned better, though. There were finger prints on the mirror and debris in the sink. The sheets also had some stains. Breakfast was small but a nice option for a quick snack before heading off to a better breakfast at a cafe. The front desk person wasn’t very warm or welcoming and was not present for a while when we arrived for check in at 3 pm.

Fun motel located pretty close to St. Helena. It clean, comfortable, and conveniently located.

Updated room w/all the basic amenities including wine glasses! Pool area, hot tub & sauna well maintained. Included continental breakfast. Just right off the main drag to St. Helena. Glad we found this place, highly recommend.

We stayed in a pool view queen room that was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Beautifully landscaped property with a nice pool. Continental breakfast offered. Quick and easy check in and out.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, black out curtains. All the basic amenities were available. We were in a family suite the main room had 2 queen beds, the second room had the King bed. Both rooms had access to the back lawn area with chairs to relax on. Breakfast was your standard Continental breakfast, the pastries were really good. Because they were completely booked (summer weekend) there was only one parking spot available, so we needed to find street parking for our second vehicle. We did that just fine. Location is fantastic, close to wineries and restaurants.

Solo traveling. Everything was exceptional.

I always enjoy staying here for location to events nearby , ease of check-in and environment.

The maid was mad that we were still in our room and spoke up to us. We tried to get a late check out but the phone in the room wasn’t working. I brought my puppy bc my mom was in the ICU and this housekeeper made my trip very stressful. When I talked to the staff in the office he said he would have granted me a late check out. She said new guests were coming and I need to get out. Ok lady take a chill pill.

Really nicely run and maintained property. We stayed during the week, and the rates were very good. The pool and the outdoor picnic areas are lovely. Top notch motel.
