The Only Positives: Spacious rooms and new furniture. That is it. The standard room feels claustrophobic with windows that barely open, lacking light and airflow. Elevators are tiny (4-person capacity) and extremely slow for an 11-story building. Towels are worse than a cheap roadside motel. A horrible mold or sewage smell fills the hallway and our room (other guests we spoke with complained about the exact same thing). Unusual security deposit required at check-in, and one more deposit even just to use pool towels. The manager clearly has no respect for guests and lacks basic customer service skills. We observed many other guests complaining while there. We only stayed because it was non-refundable. Avoid.

There was lot of noise from the construction. There was also not a single window in the room. And the whole hotel smelled of bleach.

staff, breakfast, location were amazing. Sabina is the best receptionist I have ever met. She provided a list of personal recommendation what to do - that was cute.

Breakfast was pretty good, but the buffet food wasn't HOT, just slightly warm. Recommend that they use more than one sterno to keep food warm in the trays. The steam room and sauna facilities were phenomenal. Surprised that the only toiletry amenities provided were shampoo/soap (no conditioner, no separate body wash, no lotion). Water from the shower flooded the floor, and there wasn’t a great place to put your towel within reach of the shower. I should have done better research regarding the location (didn’t realize it was where more stag/hen parties are; definitely more of a place where nightlife is plentiful and we are early-to-bed people)!

The staff was very kind and helpful, they tried to satisfy all of our requests. The accomodation is right in the center and really easy to reach from the airport, the underground pool was really cool and we were able to relax. The breakfast is incredible

We liked friendly helpful stuff and a great location near the facilities, shops and buses. We did not like many things. I have listed some of them below: 1. Lack of information about the €200 deposit for potential room damage, which we had to pay additionally during check‑in. This was not communicated in advance. The deposit was returned though after check-out. 2. Very dirty room, especially the floors. The room was not properly cleaned before check‑in and even after we requested floor cleaning, the result was disappointing. The hotel did not have a vacuum cleaner, only a small brush. 3. No water in the entire hotel from early afternoon (when we returned after a long walk) until the next morning. We were told the water would return in 3 hours, then at 10 PM, then at midnight. Eventually, we had to go to bed without being able to wash and the water only worked again the following morning. 4. Faulty lifts – they often took us to a different floor than selected and did not always read the swipe card correctly, causing us to get stuck. 5. Very repetitive and boring breakfast – only an English breakfast was available. There was a lack of proper bread, only sliced toast bread. 6. Sauna not working properly – it was often broken or too cold to be usable. 7. Loud road works outside our balcony every day, starting at 8:00 AM.

The spa area was small, crowded and stuffy. The renovations nearby were heavy renovations with cement breakers that made the floor shake. It was difficult in the morning.

Hotel stuff, constructions around the hotel, view from the room wasn’t good.
-
There was noise from building work that I was warned about and that was fair enough, but there was also some noise at night from other guests returning from bars and clubs.

The location is excellent, everything is close and no matter which direction you go, everything is easily accessible. That said, location does have a small downside, but more on that later. I can honestly say I have never encountered friendlier staff anywhere, in any country, hotel or type of accomodation. The staff are truly outstanding and deserve the highest praise. There is a pool in the basement, along with two saunas and a small gym. It could get a bit crowded at times, but I think it's perfectly adequate for a hotel this size. Breakfast was rich and varied, with something for everyone. The room was spacious and everything was excellent overall. Stayed from Friday to Monday. If you book room with balcony facing the street, the nights can be extremely noisy. Loud cars revving their engines, frequent sirens, and people shouting can be heard throughout the night. If you are young or not sensitive to noise, this won't be an issue. However, if you are a light sleeper, it may be challenging. I personally partially solved problem with earplugs.

The stuff, the location and the breakfast
-
Excellent location, with good connections, nice warm and comfortable rooms, nice spa, great panoramic view from roof top restaurant and great buffet at breakfast! With half board you don’t get buffet for dinner , and honestly the food although good is not sufficient. They serve only a starter salad or soup, one light meal meat or fish with a side and dessert. No bread we had to ask and had to ask constantly for things missing. Waiters were either internships or just new at their job.

The noise from the major works beside the hotel, but I was prevented by the reviews. Big problem if you want to sleep after 8

It was a berfect stay

The room is super modern and spacious, food was also excellent. Our room was not cleaned, we waited and went swimming in the meantime however it still wasn't done.

The room have no windows , and they dont wont to change the room , very disappointed.

First of all - Awfull standard ROOM. Cos its not a room at all, IITS A BUNKER OR PRISON!! No windows, no proper air ventilation. It was not pleasent to sleep with turn on aircondition and open door at the same time. Second thing was impossible to change room WITH windows and we were ready to pay more. THIRD is critically not polite managers who constantly said - you have windows and send fotoes with glass on the grey wall!! P.S. excusme, if that is window, than im princess Diana. Okey? FOURTH is we saw that hotel has extra rooms for booking BUT again smart managers of the hotel said- No, we dont have and its impossible to change anything. THE CONCLUSION IS - we were mad of this situation cos we have paid 1 month before. It was our mistake!! Just go, look and ONLY THAN BOOK. And suuuuure - NOT THIS HOTEL ANYMORE!!

The place was ok. The staff were not friendly. I left some personal belongings in the hotel and they asked me €150 to send it to Zurich.

The room did not have a window, which came as a surprise. Although no window is visible in the photos, its absence is neither mentioned nor expected based on the description. This slightly affected the experience, as there was no natural light in the room.
