Crystal Bay Historic Hotel

Very cool historic hotel. Staff was super nice, food was good and I was able to check in on my phone which was very helpful since I arrived pretty late. Would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed the historical relevance of the property and how close it is located to everything.

Staff was very helpful when we had problems in the room. Very quick on service. Continental breakfast was great.

Had a two night stay in this historic hotel. Room was nice, had interesting layout and was pretty large plus included refrigerator/microwave, but showed signs of being in an old building such as slow draining sink. Perks of old building were rocking chairs on covered veranda and a library with books, puzzles and games. Was a keyless property with number codes for rooms and outside doors after hours. Staff was helpful but desk was not staffed 24/7. Issue we had with one of the beds was promptly fixed. Ice and cold water provided along with self serve station for additional towels, soap, etc. Breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh fruit, waffles and other hot and cold items. Weekend also had made to order eggs. Maintenance work at front door made entry a bit of an obstacle. Would also note that while I think there are accessible ways to get in, plan on being able to being able to use stairs at entrance and to access upstairs rooms as this hotel was built pre-ADA. Parking lot across the street or on-street parking. We were able to find a spot in the lot when we needed it. Entrance and parking lot on one-way side street so sometimes needed to drive around the block to get in.

This hotel was very comfortable and convenient. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well stocked. We will be sure to stay here again.

Rooms were ok, air conditioners were so extremely loud in both the living room and bedroom. They had maintenance in the hallways and outside early in the morning painting and scraping old paint. The breakfast was not a breakfast it was toast, 2 kinds of cereal and apples. I wouldn't stay here again for the price. Better options for cheaper.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was unbelievably fresh and delicious. There was even an omelette station. Parking was a bit tricky and there is some construction; but, I would 100% stay there again

The property was beautiful, the breakfast buffet was so good, especially for it being a hotel breakfast included in stay. The pool was clean and pretty, a lot of chairs and Lounge chairs. The rooms were spacious and quiet. Would stay again.

Great place to stay in St. Petersburg, staff is friendly and accessible.The room was large and clean. Free parking is a plus also.

Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the beautiful gardens and peaceful atmosphere. The only downside was that our room didn’t have curtains, which meant the morning sunlight came in very early and woke us up sooner than we would have liked. Adding window coverings would make an otherwise wonderful stay even better.

Such a lovely historic hotel! The rooms were clean and spacious, the bed and pillows super comfortable! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was amazing! We will definitely be back.

This hotel was built in 1915 and has many famous people staying there. Old building and furniture in the lobby has specific antique smell; the floor surfaces are uneven but overall it feels like you are in an old castle. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Hotel offers pretty good hot breakfast. There is a pool outside. Some vip status guests receive complimentary water and snacks. You will find some historic information about the hotel in your room together with a postcard featuring hotel. Very nice presentation.
