Spacious apartment. Clean with very good facilities and in a convenient location close to city centre and railway station Negatives were the very narrow and steep staircase you have to climb if you book an apartment on the first or second floors. Older or people with mobility issues would find it difficult. The shower is in over the bath tub and slippery, could use some kind of non slip mat particularly for older people. Management needs to be more professional. Our major problem was that we booked a ground floor unit as we are in our 70s and find it difficult to climb narrow stairs carrying luggage. The manager however, flatly denied that we had booked a ground floor unit, even though it was clearly on our booking confirmation, which we showed them. We took it up with booking.com who also confirmed we had clearly booked a ground floor unit. What astounded us most was the very rude manner that they denied the fact, there was no apology like “sorry there is obviously an error, this is all we have, someone can help you with the luggage, just a flat denial in an extremely aggressive manner. The confrontation was very upsetting and unnecessary. It unfortunately spoiled our stay

SIMPLY PUT, A GEM! WE LOVED ALL OF IT! The totally completely furnished apartment is absolutely espectacular! TANIA is the BEST concierge we have found in all our travels. From directions to check-In and Check-out, to what to see and do while visiting this charming small town to her quick and super friendly communication with us ,,, Always made sure we were well taken care of. Just Outstanding! Thank You Immensely Tania!?? The proprietor Thought of totally Everything and Then some! An AC unit in the living room , AND another one in the bedroom. Almost non-existent here in France! A Giant 4K screen TV in the living room made us feel we were in our own private Home Theater. A Delux Queen size bed with the coziest comforter Ever? A Full size kitchen with a Full Size refrigerator ? also not very common in France. Location was a Hop, Skip and a Jump away from THE BEST brewery in France, La Debauch, Carrefour market, AND plenty of restaurant options if cooking " at home" is not your cup of tea. Super close to Cognac , Yess, the City where Cognac is made.? Need I Say More? ?✨??? We will definitely be back sooner than later! Simply put, An Unforgettable Experience??? THANK YOU FOR ALL OF IT! LOVED EVERYTHING!

Great location, easy walking distance to the railway station and the city retail and hospitality districts. Great little apartment with every convenience you could want; clean and well presented. Comfortable bed and quiet bedroom. Nothing. I was in a top floor apartment that required walking up 2 levels on a narrow staircase. Not an issue for me, but could be for some.

Clean and comfortable apartment. Easy walk to restaurants. It is always less convenient when the proprietor is not on site. When called to ask how to enter, he answered quickly, so that was good. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the apartment and it was partially used so that was a negative. Lead me to believe they were not on premise often. The location, although convenient, is in a questionable area.

Had a very nice stay. The apartment was perfect. It was tastefully decorated, very clean, had everything you could ever need during your stay. The bed was super comfortable and the location is great!!
