Candlewood Suites Stafford - Quantico by IHG

This was my 2nd stay at a Candlewood and I have been impressed so far! Check-in was quick and easy with friendly staff. The facility was very clean, and parking was available right outside of the building. The room came with a kitchenette stocked with any basics you may need to prepare food. The room was a good size with enough space to store away my belongings, and the bathroom was sizeable and clean as well. I love the Dove soap that Candlewood provides -- smells so good and works better than the subpar soap bars most hotels provide. The bed was comfortable and bedding was warm compared to many other hotel beds. The TV was nice, as it had streaming services and a huge range of live cable channels. Overall, great stay! I'll definitely come back to Candlewood in the future.

Not clean. Rusty hinges on bathroom door and bathroom fixtures were rusty. Dirty toilet. Staff at front desk was very helpful and got us a new room. Rooms were not ready at check-in time. Do not recommend.

Very friendly staff and clean room. No breakfast or pool but convenient location and ideal for a working week.

Staff was friendly and helpful, especially when I had some difficulties with the TV. The room was clean and suited my purpose for a place to sleep for short visit in the area. Entrance to the location was a little difficult at first, requiring me to go past the location and turn around at a convenience store to head back in the direction to enter the location. This was not a problem after realizing what I needed to do.

The hotel was horrible and AC unit flooded my room and destroyed my clothes

We had some issues with the internet & the AC in our room was leaking a decent amount of water. Other than that, it was fine

The problems came down to logistics. The elevator was out of service, which made things difficult. On top of that, I wasn’t thrilled about the extra $50 incidentals fee. The biggest issue was billing: my card was charged twice, once as a hold and once for the actual payment. I know the hold will fall off, but in the meantime it ties up part of my credit limit. Good people, good room, but the billing process needs improvement.

The staff seemed bothered by us. Took forever to get checked in. Elevator was down. Coffee bar wasn't stocked. Disappointed for an IHG property.

Poor

The room was pretty clean and the bed comfortable, although I did find a hair on the tub that definitely was not mine. The biggest issue was that the elevator is still not working a month after my previous visit. This time I was on the third floor! That was challenging with carrying luggage up three flights.

I love the entire experience good pricing on this room amazing staff. That the elevator was down.

The room was great overall. It was a great value. My wife and father loved the rooms. My wife suffers from allergies and not having carpeted floors was a plus. The bathroom sink needs some repair. Water was not draining (made a temp fix) . I alerted the front desk. The elevator was broken, however we were located on the first floor. My father had to walk up to the second floor. He didn't mind. I did because he is 86 years old. There should also be instructions available on how to operate the remote.

Nothing our room had water coming from ceiling didn't switch our room my son had to sleep on floor it was horrible and still hasn't been refunded
