Live Lofoten Hotel

The proximity to the port. There’s nothing nearby- no restaurants, no cafes, etc and the restaurant in the hotel was closed until after I’d be leaving.

The location is great for visiting Lofoten. The staff was courteous and attentive. The included breakfast was tasty and selection was broad. The restaurant and bar/pub were good though rather expensive, the norm for Norway.

The hotel's water system was undergoing repairs, so the staff made an effort to compensate with exceptional service. Breakfast was cooked for me individually. The staff also personally did my laundry. I was not charged for either of these items. The hotel manager made a real effort to make me feel comfortable despite the inconvenience of the repairs. I had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. It was a pleasant experience despite the adverse circumstances.

The staff was exceptional as well as the food.

Great staff, really helpful about organizing our stay on Lofoten Islands and let us use the room even after the check out until Hurtigruten arrived. Room really clean, cosy and spacious, bathroom as well. Next to the Hurtigruten dock! Unfortunately we couldn't have breakfast BUT the waitress told us very quickly so we were able to get our breakfast at the grocery close to the hotel.

Firstly the staff - they are fantastic, very smiley, super friendly and polite. Secondly the food - we had an evening meal here and it was incredible. The free sushi entree between courses was an added little treat thank you. When we first arrived, we thought 'OMG what have we booked here?', the exterior looks quite dated and in need of a freshen up. Once we got inside, all our concerns disappeared with the super friendly staff, comfortable room and great food in the restaurant. Don't judge the place by it's exterior.

Small room.

Live Hotel was our introduction to the beautiful Lofoten Islands. We disembarked in the dark, but the Hotel is an easy walk from where we got off Hurtigruten in Stamsund. Lovely clean, spacious room, great view. Hotel restaurant, which is another short walk away, served us delicious food. Easy to catch the bus into Leknes, so we could get our hire car and begin our week on The Lofotens. We could have picked the hire car up from Stamsund, but, hey, all part of the journey! Nothing. Great hotel, served our needs very well.

Super helpful staff, very clean and great location near to hurtigruten quay. Linked restaurant (200m) away was helpful as we were late arrivals. Good safe storage for our bicycles that were welcome. Breakfast plentiful & functional but very expensive & lagging presentation of other hotels : guesthouses

It was OK Full toilet.

The property is pretty unresponsive, they do not respond to messages sent via booking app and also booking customer support couldn’t reach them.
