Bed and Breakfast MIRAMAR

It's a family-run hotel, the owners are courteous and helpful, they matched all our requests. The sea is right in front of the hotel. Paklenica National Park is a 2 minute car ride from the hotel, can easily be reached by bike.

The location of the property is very nice. When I did the check out the host did add the local tax to the rate of the room. After I did point to the text below the prize in booking.com which states that taxes and charges are included the host started to be very impolite and made the departure a very uncomfortable experience.

Great view overlooking the beach - very friendly and welcoming staff (everyone of them) - lovely evening meal, great service and wonderful breakfast overlooking the sea!

Very friendly staff and good location.Room was nice. The building needs to be renovated! It is a very old “Yugoslavia style” building. You can tell, they don’t invest much into hotel. The staff is very friendly. The price for one night is too expensive. Breakfast is very basic.The is no buffet, you get served everything on the table. When you order eggs, you get ONE egg….no fruits! Also, you can only pay in cash.

Cash only is a hassle and wifi did not work well in my room. I know we were in the far corner but it should work in the whole property. The way I see it if they were to invest a tiny bit of money doing a bit of a face lift of the place it would really make the place feel more luxurious when as it is, it feels ok for the money and location. Just my opinion, I guess it depends on what you value most.

The location was fantastic. Good breakfast. No bar fridge in room to keep water bottles cold or medications that need to be refrigerated. No kettle to boil water.

Friendly staff and good breakfast provided: meats/cheese, bread, eggs cooked to your liking etc. Dated building, small room with old furniture and decor. Short small shower in old bathroom, small balcony overlooks the sea (great) but there's zero chance of shade on it. To have shade in the room you must also close the curtains -no light at all! No fridge.

Nothing Rooms were dirty and smelling poop. Photos were taken. The room wasn't matching to what was posted as pictures of the room. It reminds me mid 80 years and the room looked really like from the era, size/furniture, etc. Will never return there and recommend everyone to not go anywhere nearby this place. Window from the toilet was out to... first room, which is pass through place to another room with small window. Other rooms had windows/glass to the corridor with nothing to cover it and coming back to our room, we could see what's happening in other rooms... no privacy. We've paid 188EUR for one night for sleeping in dirty and room which smelt like septic tank/poo. Owners didn't want to provide us with invoice, though at the same time did request additional 3EUR for local taxes, even if these were supposed to be all included in full price as advertised on Booking.com - not that 3EUR makes difference when it costs 188EUR, but it's matter of principles. Payment in cash only and to get invoice they made everything to discourage us from that, they chose to put us in waiting loop to serve some passing people ice creams, then it happened that need to call the "father" which took additional 10 minutes... then came angry "daughter" asking why would we need an invoice if we're leaving now, etc. The whole excercise took us 20 minutes... They also tries to take our passports and keep it overnight claiming "this is our practice for last 20 years"... I'm sure they are aware about GDPR and how data should be protected (laugh). The whole experience, also how they treated us more like a flies/mosquitos than customers was something really bad. The little door is the entrance to the "room" which seems to be added on the roof of the garage or something from the past.
