Breakfast is amazing! Highly recommend. Servers were very attentive and food was great every morning, I didn’t expect the coffee to be rich flavored. The mini egg muffins were delicious as was the fresh fruit, especially the giant blueberries.

The 24 South has a classic elegant feel - a timelessness. There is also an exhibit in the lobby about its history. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, I enjoyed a salmon club sandwich from the bar menu. I didn’t have breakfast this stay but remember fabulous pancakes and omelettes. And southern hospitality

Staff was friendly, location right in downtown made for easy walk to local attractions. While it is an older building it’s well maintained.

Over the course of our stay we watched interactions of several front desk clerks with guests. They were friendly and kind, which was encouraging because the woman who checked us in was not the least bit welcoming or hospitable. We had plenty of time to see that her dislike for her job showed up with all of the guests not just us. Our room was not ready until after 4:00. Housekeeping never made it to the room during our stay. We were able to get towels sent up after asking in person at the front desk. Breakfast is so-so (and there are several much better choices you can walk to.)

The morning breakfast was wonderful. There was an expansive selection, the food was good quality and the price was very reasonable. The staff was genuinely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel… Especially for couples.

This was our second time staying here. Reasonable rates for an excellent hotel that’s in the heart of downtown Staunton. The room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were very nice. We will stay here again if we come back.
