DoubleTree by Hilton Sterling - Dulles Airport

This was the third or fourth time that we used the Doubletree. The property seems to be going downhill. We could not use the shower. The handle fell off so we could not turn the water on. The outlets in the bathroom were not working. The food was good in the dining room. I did speak to the front desk person about the problem in the morning. He said we should’ve called in the night. However, we had just spent 21 hours straight coming home from a flight. We are both in our 70s and did not want to deal with the problem that late. He was unwilling to compensate us and anyway. I would not recommend them at this point.

Front desk tech was very helpful- Great attitude. But the room was not clean, bathroom was dirty and moldy

The staff and service was excellent. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the facility - it is older and probably needs a remodel but it was still clean and pretty well kept. I liked being close to shopping and restaurants, however not a great path to walk to them - no sidewalks, etc.

Outdated room, sheets were stained.

My stay was short, I have no complaints.

These are the reasons I rated the stay poor. The staff was excellent as was the food and drink. Please get the rooms squared away.

I personally would not stay at this location again. Poor customer service and difficulty getting the room I booked upon checking in.

Nothing like the ratings suggest, Restaurant was horrible. Service and food. Most staff didn’t communicate very well because they didn’t speak English. Never again

Clean room, friendly staff and this Double Tree had fresh cookies as well.

Nothing No parking. The hotel should have done a better job of snow removal. Customer service was suspect…no concern for the customers. No eye contact and greeting. Breakfast should have been included with the stay. Food was limited and too expensive. Will never stay at this hotel.

Everything was great

The bed was very very very comfortable, slept like a log. Comfortable ac temperature. House keeping was great. Front desk attendant when I arrived was gracious. Restaurant attendant very helpful with info of store near by.oh yeah shower pressure great! NO microwave in the room, how can I worm up my food? That’s a deal breaker. Got to have a microwave in the room. No vent in the bathroom? Wow. No soap in the dispenser. I brought my own just in case. With those exceptions the room was good.
