The exercise facilities were minimal, so keep that in mind and maybe plan to be outside, hopefully without poor air quality. The noise level from the fire pits was significant, despite many signs throughout the lodge stating quiet hours begin at 10pm. Something else to keep in mind when booking...if you want to sleep stay in a "resort view" room rather than a river facing room.

This is really a destination location. Lots to do, great food and friendly staff. Beautifully located

My third time staying Escamilla Lodge. Can’t say enough. This place is wonderful for everything you want, activities, water, sightseeing, wildlife, etc. Had the opportunity to go with my grandkids and they absolutely loved it. The marked hiking trails are an added bonus where my five-year-old and three year-old grandchildren were able to easily maneuver the trails and got to see wildlife. What a wonderful experience. We will make it our fourth next year!

The room was very noisy due to an elevator being close by.

It is always great to be in the gorge! The beds are not big enough for two people to sleep comfortably. I shared with 7 year old kid and it was still not comfortable- I don’t see how two adults can share one bed.

Beautiful location, but property could use some maintenance/updating. Restraunt meal was so so, not as good as I was hoping. Bed was comfortable, but some sort of mechanical or fan noise was in the background 24/7. Maybe my expectations were to high. Staff friendly and helpful.

All the staff were great and very welcoming. I just have to say the beds were squeaky and on the smaller side for two people. Other than they our stay was great.

Loved everything about my experience, especially the spa and pool with views. Gorgeous property with excellent staff and endless excursions.

Always like staying here.

The only complaint I have is the service at the bar/restaurant area where we were seated outside, service could have been better. I believe the service team needs better guidance on taking care of the customers, but this is more of a constructive criticism because our host were nice and it was busy but need leadership to give direction.

Not what it once was but still one of the nicest spots to stay in the area. Too bad they do not keep the old golf greens watered any longer. I do not play golf but it just looks bad.

Was disappointed in the $15 parking fee. Understandable in urban environments, but seems opportunistic here. Bathroom door also was water damaged and falling a part at the bottom.
