Landhotel Mader

Location is EXCELLENT..right in the heart of the historic town. Breakfast was also excellent...lots of choices for any and all desires...even the ability to fresh "squeeze" your own early morning juice drink! YUMMY!!! The room was comfortable and clean. Bed were quite good. Very Quiet if you wanted or needed a good nights sleep! The owner was a 'prince' in the true sense of the word. He is SO accommodating and caring and truly concerned about his guests well being and comfort. He went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with a "parking" issue...I am forever grateful. If you want to stay 'out of some confusion' you need to park in the city garage if traveling by car. Not a big deal, truly, but for renegades such as myself, I tried to park in public areas but unfortunately had zero comprehension of German...which can lead to problems.

Very friendly service and amazing location. Restaurant was incredible and a pleasant breakfast. This place has a lot of charm. It's a bit dated but remember it was probably built 500yrs ago.

The staff are all friendly and helpful; the room was well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast is sumptuous! The building is fascinating and well located. We hope to stay here again in the near future. Thank you, Hotel Mader.

We only stayed a quick night but would definitely go back. Everything was wonderful.

Supernice hotel located right on the townsquare in Steyr. Large and comfortable room. Very good and plentifull breakfast. Ladies at the reception was very serviceminded. The hotel was not easy to find. Very anonymous fasade that was hidden by the outdour resturant. We stayed there at a time when there was a sportsevent right outside hotel. Very, very noicy untill far into the night.

No parking at good proximity of hotel. You need to walk with luggage for 5-7 minutes to reach hotel

Very nice hotel located in the very center of Steyr. Big and very clean room, super comfortable bed, fast Wifi. MEGA-SUPER-HIPER-COSMOS delicious breakfast !!!!! Extremely tasty food in the hotel's restaurant (try Goulash !!!) Nice and helpful staff. Thank you ! :-) Coming back soon :-)
