Perfect location. Even had time for a quick dip in the pool & jacuzzi. A bit of a lived in look. Overall a great value in one of VT’s most noteworthy villages. Staff was excellent!!!

Really enjoyed our stay! My wife and I drove down for our first anniversary and really loved the Green Mountain Inn. Amenities were superb (really liked the pool/sauna experience). Beds were extremely comfy. Staff were very informative and helpful. Would travel back again.

The property is very pretty, old, and quaint. The rooms are old, bathrooms are old, and not very updated in the main part of the property. Not very impressive for the cost. They were clean, and we don’t spend a lot of time in the room, so while I didn’t love the room, it wasn’t a deal breaker. The property has an outdoor pool and outdoor seating / fire pits, which was also supposed to have an outdoor bar but the couple times we went there was never anyone working there. There were always guests milling around trying to figure out is they should wait or go inside to find someone. The fitness center was nice, as was the game room for our older kids. The Whip Restaurant was OK, food was decent but certainly not the best in town, service was poor unfortunately. Our waitress forgot items we ordered and was rarely seen. One of her tables just up and left while we were there because she never came with the check and they had waited forever. We loved Doc Ponds, The Bench, and VonTrapps Brewery! Stowe is wonderful in the summer.

This hotel is beautiful, right on the Main St of Stowe. Walkable to all the shops, cafe and hiking trails. Beautiful setting, staff were amazing.

We’ve stayed t Green Mountain Inn a number of times over the last 30 years. We’ve always been pleased. We just visited this weekend and it had been a few years since our last visit. It was just as great as always! We had a luxury family suite that was so attractive and comfortable. The Whip was as good as always and we enjoyed our breakfast at 18 Main. With access to all of the shops and the Recreation trail, Green Mountain Inn will remain our place to stay in Stowe! No problem parking, staff very pleasant and accommodating, rooms and grounds very attractive.

Beautiful Colonial style room complete with modern amenities. Loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. Beautiful grounds. Helpful staff.

Wonderful stay at the Green Mountains Inn. The suite was well maintained and spacious with a very large and comfortable 4 poster bed. We had to climb a set of stairs with our luggage, but the hotel quickly sent a staff member to help. The breakfast (not included in our booking) was very nice. The Inn is very centrally located, close to an amazing walking trail, shops and restaurants. Stowe is a picturesque little town and would be lovely to visit in the Autumn. A quick drive to the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream factory and to walking trails in the mountains and ski slopes in the winter. We will come back to enjoy the Fall.

Great location. Very friendly staff and comfortable bed. The room was clean and the property well cared for. Check in was easy and there was plenty of parking. We would stay here again - great experience.
