Outbound Stowe

Relaxing and woodsy spot. Great amenities and friendly staff. Nice bar.

The rooms are unique and clean and the onsite restaurant has a decent menu. The pool is large with plenty of lounge chairs. This property is close to the rec path and many restaurants in Stowe.

Located across the street from Cady Hill which is a great spot to mountain bike. They are close to all the restaurants and breweries plus they have an onsite bar and restaurant that is also pretty decent. I would recommend this location as great base camp.

We stayed in one of the private cabins and absolutely loved it. It made us feel as though we had our own little quiet oasis, and I loved opening the shades in the morning and having the river just steps away. The property was immaculate, the drinks at the bar were delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect as well, close to downtown Stowe, the rec trail and all the fun breweries and restaurants. We can’t wait to go back!

The outdoors

I thought the extra money would be worth it due to amenities but was a bit disappointed to see the dehumidifier in the room that would beep when full and we would have to empty it as well, was a wake up early morning, and the air conditioner vent was full of dust and not cleaned. Otherwise the staff was nice and the pool was great.

Gated area with pool, hot tub, bar and restaurant is fantastic! Green space on property close to trails and town. Very dog friendly overall!

Loved the vibe here! The lobby area with gift shop was so quaint with a basement area to hang out. The pool and hot tub areas were large and clean, and the fire pits available each night for smores. We had a nice, big patio overlooking the pool as part of the room we reserved. We also really loved the accessibility to the Stowe Recreation Path and downtown. Staff were all very helpful and kind as well. Unfortunately the basement area to hang out was not available to use nor was the Eastside Bar + Bites as it is closed until Wed and then they had a wedding event scheduled there that evening. The event went until 10pm and the music was rather loud, especially for having a room right next to the event. We enjoyed our room but having a shared space with other guests was strange especially when other guests snagged the common space and watched movies all evening that we constantly were walking through as they watched to get to our room. Blinds at the top windows would be helpful too with the early morning sun.

Terrific place for a family stay during our road trip. Our room overlooked the pool area and we had access to a lovely huge deck where we could see the forest. There is also a great nature path (paved) for waking or biking. Lobby is great too - books and games to sign out, etc.

It was ok. Room was tiny with no place to put a suitcase. Bathroom was very small

The staff there is awesome! Everyone was super professional, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole stay feel really pleasant. The property itself is beautiful and has a nice pool with a hot tub, as well as a cute restaurant and bar. The amenities were great, and the room was very spacious, including the bathroom. There are a couple of areas that could be improved. The cleanliness of the bedding area could have been better. Our sheets weren’t clean when we arrived, but once I informed the staff, they were quick to provide us with fresh sheets, so the issue was resolved without any problems. The pool could also use a little more maintenance. It was somewhat dirty and had quite a few insects floating in it, which made it less enjoyable to use.

Everything you’d want for a fun family vacation. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!
