The hotel is only 2 steps from the highway, very close to Stuttgart, yet in a very calm and lovely environment. The building itself is breathtaking, built in 1720 while the restaurant building is even older, built in 1620! The restaurant's staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. It is a pity that we only stayed one night, like that I could not try the whole menu. The breakfast was nice, fresh, and delicious. Generally speaking, I would recommend this place to anyone, even for 3-4 nights. The bed mattress was a bit noisy and hard for me but it is only me personal taste.

The manager was very friendly and let us choose between two rooms. He was very patient when I couldn't quite make up my mind which room to choose. Our room was very large and there was lots of closet space for someone who was staying for a while along with a desk if you were there for work. We also had a balcony with a pretty view of the surrounding homes. The bed was super comfortable. The sleeping area was separated from the bathrooms by the closet/storage area and entranceway. There was a seperate room for the WC and sink. The bathroom was a nice size and had a shower and a bathtub and a fairly large vanity/sink. Very pet friendly - our dog was allowed in the dining room but not in the breakfast room which was fine, we had to bring our food into the separate dining room. It was cozy and private so we actually preferred it. It was walking distance to a grocery store, a bakery and a few other restaurants. There is a bar/restaurant, Recki's, seperate from the hotel, but on the premises, that looked good but we only had drinks. It was just a short drive to the city with all the amenities. The heater in the WC was not working so it was very cold and we could not figure out how to adjust the thermostat in the room so it was cold in the room but for sleeping purposes it was perfect. The breakfast was just ok. There was bread and meats and cheeses, cereal and fruit. We were there for Christmas day and we expected to have something a little more special on Christmas day especially since the local restaurants and bakeries were all closed.

Nice spacious room with an extra terace. Friendly reception and cleaning staff. Willing to help with any issues that arrived and provide feedback or help to any questions. To anyone, please note that the restaurant ONLY RENTS the space and does not belong to the hotel, so in that regard this is not their fault, but be aware that the staff of the restaurant is rude, they do not offer support or anything even close to an explanation. The sign outside "we cook slow" is actually an accurate description as they could not provide a meal for two, even though at that time only 5 people were sitting at ONE TABLE, rest were free.

A coffee pot in the room would have been nice.

So cute and quaint. Very comfortable and the food is delicious. The water for bathing was yellowish brown. The location is cute but a bit tricky if you do not have a car.

The beautiful medieval buildings and the very pretty, quaint, and cozy breakfast room although I didn't get to eat. I would love to return sometime in cooler weather! NO AIR CONDITIONING! I thought I would die from the heat! Also the lady told me when I checked in that my breakfast would be included, but the next morning the lady attendant told me I would have to pay for my breakfast so I just didn't eat.

Beautiful building and room. Very clean and welcoming. Helpful staff and a great location. Great selection of restaurants near by aswell as their own. The near by University Botanical Gardens were great to walk the dog in.

I highly recommend the Hotel Traube. The location to public transportation, restaurants, and markets is great. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are in great conditions.

Room was clean and comfortable. And the staff was also nice! I absolutely love the interior and the buildings of this stay. Despite the location being a bit far from the city, I love the town because it was quiet and quite accessible! There is a good kebab place across the road, and within 10 minutes of walking there was bank, pharmacy and a few other restautants. As a business traveller it was very convenient for me. Thank you Hotel Traube. I wonder what other nice rooms they have and would also love to try their breakfast if I have the chance next time.

Comfy and clean. We've stayed here before a couple of times. It's good. We didn't book breakfast the night before so could not have it in the morning.

I absolutely loved everything. We stayed at this hotel again, and everything was as perfect as the first time. The rooms were perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and varied. It is definitely our hotel whenever we are in Stuttgart.❤️❤️❤️ We absolutely loved everything.

Exceptional

The hosts were very nice and approachable. The receptionist is excellent , the breakfast is excellent and the hotel is like something out of a fairy tale. A miracle ?❤️❤️ There was nothing we didn't like.
