Hanagoyomi exceeded our expectations. Though it was a little challenging to map out and time our route to Hanagoyomi, we loved our stay at this ryokan. Dinner was excellent--a seven course meal made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients and was included as a part of our stay. The room we booked (open air bath with terrace) was spacious, beautifully decorated, and came with many amenities. The staff speak limited English, so it was challenging at times to communicate. However, the staff made every effort to communicate with us so that we could best enjoy the experience. I wish I spoke better Japanese, or that I had a pocket talk to help with translations, because I would have loved to be able to better communicate with the staff. All in all an unforgettable experience, and I hope we can come back some day!

We took the room with open bath. It was the best relaxing experience we have ever had. Beautiful ocean view from the room and also from the open bath. You can hear the sound of waves, birds,etc. Exceptional experience. Dinner and breakfast were also exceptional. Nothing. We had such a nice bath in the room, we didn’t really need to go to the public bath..

Staff are very polite and nice, the property is very clean We enjoyed various hot springs at three different properties of Hotel New Awaji group The serving speed at the dinner was little slow that made us to wait for the dishes

The view from my room is awesome, I can see the sunrise without leaving the futon. The staffs are very attentive, thumbs up.
