My shopping item an necklace in a box went missing and I feel the hotel story of it never existed. Then being told it was thrown out and no one getting back to me was very disappointing. This was my third stay at the hotel and my last. I work at this hotel for bridal functions a few times a year and I will be recommending bridals to stay elsewhere.

Seamless check-in and check-out. Loving the "welcome drinks" at reception. Loved returning to Kimpton, will need to return again soon.

A lovely hotel. Comfortable rooms, good coffee. Unfortunately the business practices around billing are sub standard, greedy and incompetent. After paying in full at checkin for 3 nights accommodation, as well as a $100 PER night 'incidentals,' charge, upon checkout instead of using the incidentals pre authorisation for final payment, the hotel took the entire amount a second time. With a pending incidentals hold, and paying twice, I then get advised Ill have to hurry up and wait for a refund. I get the extorted $incidentals', as it has become common practice, but to charge for the room twice, and then advise a refund can take days, and def not on a weekend is borderline theft. Will never stay here again.

Everything was impeccable. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were lovely and friendly; the bed and pillows were some of the best I've ever slept on. Location was great, too. A 10 minute walk to an entire block of shopping malls, and an easy, flat, 30 minute walk to the Opera House. Faultless. Nothing to add! It was all good.
