There was no cold water in the room - the water in the basic was either hot or very hot. The room was also very hot - there needs to be a mechanisms to keep the window open if there is no AC

Nothing!!! We thought it was creepy, like an old dorm room, boarding school, too many flights of stairs, no lifts, no fridge, no tv, bathroom and shower were disconnected from the room. The birds thing on the wall was creepy. Will never stay there ever again nor recommend it to anyone. Karaoke fine sing a few songs but not to stay in their hotel. 0/10.

Staff were very friendly and helped us check in, room was clean and tidy, was in a great location with many restaurants and shops to look at near by and we even got free music as there was karaoke happing in the pub downstairs and it was great / funny to listen too. The shared shower was not as clean as I hoped it'd be, it had stains on the walls and the wooden pallets to stand on were broken.

Overall, it was good. Since I knew it would be a bit noisy, I was mentally prepared. I was pretty tired from sightseeing during the day, so I slept reasonably well. The noises I could hear included sounds from the bar downstairs, the rumbling of the tram, and the sound of traffic lights. However, there are a few issues: 1. It seemed like the carpet hadn’t been cleaned—there was visible dust, as shown in the photo. 2. The stains on the wall hadn’t been taken care of. 3. After the doorknob broke, it left a hole. I had to stuff it with tissue paper myself; otherwise, people could see inside the room. 4. There might have been insects—I was bitten a few times. However, the staff was helpful and sprayed insect repellent.

I liked the charm of the building and the spacious airiness of the bedroom. I was sent instructions for checking in and the staff were very helpful. The location is also very good. I would have liked to have had tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge in the room or access to a communal area where there is a fridge and facilities to make tea and coffee,

Only problem was NO hot water in the room Or bathroom in the mornING. Ran taps for about 4 minutes. No hot water and steep stairs

The location was great! The room had what you needed for a night's sleep, the bed was comfy enough, and there was a basin in the room too. A welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch! The first shower I had was cold, no aircon, and obviously being above a pub in the heart of the city it's a bit loud, but they do provide earplugs to help with that.

Aircon was not connectable no remote control room was a bit stuffy.

Good size room in the heart of the city. Under the bed needs a vacuum.

clean and security nothing

The location was fantastic! Right in the middle of it all. I felt sceptical about staying in a pub room but I was pleasantly surprised! My room felt clean and secure. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's a nice pub to have a few casual drinks at. I liked the whole Reschs Beer theme of it. The beer and ginger beer tasted good. I tried a Brisket pie and was very tasty! A few a little things. One toilet I went to,the door latch was a bit sketchy and it almost got stuck.I thought for a moment am I gonna be stuck in here? And one shower room didn't have a light working. I don't like if you pay for something at the bar with card you get a surcharge.

The room was a good size. The door codes worked well. The location is convenient. The beds were super comfy. Liked having the sink in the room. The room was very hot, even when we had the window open all evening and the fan going, we came back later it was really warm in the room. This made sleeping really uncomfortable. The corridor outside was like 10 degrees cooler! I would stay here again only if we were staying in winter time. The bathrooms were a good size but one of the showers had lots of visible mold in the grout and smelt like mold. The other shower was much cleaner.

Location perfect if you have plans in the city/darling harbour. There's no real point of contact though that's sort of to be expected. Rooms run pretty hot, can be loud with three wise monkeys on one side and a nightclub on the other, though typical for city accommodation.
